When Kyran turned 18, his life turned upside down.

The Royal Army raided his clan because his supposedly non-existent magic got exposed. On that fateful night, he was the only one who escaped.

Up to the present, the status of his clan was unknown.

A magic inheritance that became a curse, Kyran became a fugitive. Always on the run... living in fear when the Royal Army finally captures him.

Legacy of the Dark Sage

True Void's warning suddenly rang out in Kyran's mind.

Kyran did not need the warning, though. The moment he sensed something was wrong, he used the dragon step to move more than five meters away from Vera. This distance was far enough to retreat or attack, depending on the situation.

A blinding red light enveloped Vera's body illuminating the darkness. Her body also levitated as if two huge invisible hands had lifted her off the ground.

The space around Vera distorted, and Kyran felt a familiar presence on her.

'Ruin's aura!' Kyran's eyes narrowed. Could it be that the veil around her was Ruin's doing? If yes, then why?

No. It was not really hard to guess what was happening. Ruin was probably interested in Vera's magic. Instinctively, Kyran even felt that Ruin was interested because of her magic's similar trait to his magic's 'warp' ability.

Ruin's obsession with Kyran was downright creepy.
