The Weird Change; the Space Was Fully Unlocked

During the half a month when Yun Che was in a coma, Xing Feng and the others barely left his side or slept. Impressed by their genuine friendship and grateful to them for saving the coastal base, everyone in this place admired and respected them.

Because Heiyu's light shield had blocked the scent, in the past half a month, all the zombies that hadn't been killed walked away. When he removed the light shield, those zombies didn't come back. The coastal base finally solved the zombie crisis. For some reason, the ocean beasts didn't attack the base during this period. The military soldiers and civilians in the coastal area finally had their peace back.

"181 centimeters."

When Chaoyang and Peak Squad went back to their temporary residence in the coastal base, they were all tired. The others went to their bedrooms for rest, and Yun Che transported Yun Cheng and Chenchen into his Space so that they wouldn't disturb the others with any noise. After taking a shower with Xing Feng, Yun Che conjured a tape and asked Xing Feng to measure his height. He believed his body had changed.

"I've grown six centimeters."

Yun Che said and stared at his fingers that had grown longer in confusion. He remembered that he was around 175 centimeters before the doomsday started, and the extra six centimeters seemed to have been grown in the past half a month. What the hell did Heiyu make him drink? And what was that weird feeling inside his body?

"Well, normal people would be thrilled for growing taller. Are you having a second puberty?"

Xing Feng put away the tape as he teased. Their teammates were too excited to notice the change in Yun's height. And people in the coastal base were less likely to notice anything as they only had met Yun Che a few times.

"Screw you…"

Yun Che punched at Xing Feng's chest as he said. And then, he snapped his fingers.

"What the hell?"

A small flame instantly popped out of thin air, and Yun Che was startled to flinch. Xing Feng also widened his eyes in shock, "Is this the fire superfunction?"

If he acquired the fire superfunction, it would make him a tri-attribute superfunction possessor. Could he be that lucky?

"No, I don't think so."

*Snap, snap, snap*

Yun Che continued to snap his fingers until he got seven superfunction objects lining up in front of him: red flame, clear water drop, golden gold, yellow sand, and green sprout, which represented the five basic attributes, as well as a shining ball and a black ball, which represented the light and darkness attribute respectively. It seemed that he had got all the superfunctions in him, which was almost impossible.

"When will Heiyu wake up?"

Having come back to his senses, Xing Feng realized the attributes that Yun Che had just summoned were not superfunctions, and Heiyu was probably the only one that could explain what was going on.

"I don't know."

Yun Che shook his head and snapped his fingers to make all those superfunction attributes disappear. "This isn't superfunction. When we conjure something with superfunction, it generates from inside our body, but these things just popped out of thin air. I think it's something that doesn't belong to this world. Or to be more accurate, it's something that has disappeared from this world a long time ago."

Suddenly, Yun Che recalled that Heiyu once told him that the earth was surrounded by enchantments, and he believed the change on him had something to do with that. He told Xing Feng about his speculation, but he couldn't be sure before Heiyu woke up.

"Are you talking about those myths about cultivation and immortals in China?"

China was a nation with a long history, and it had all kinds of myths and stories about immortals and cultivation. If it were in the past, Xing Feng wouldn't believe any of those stories. However, after he met Yun Che and learned that Heiyu was a divine beast instead of a mutant animal, he started to keep an open mind towards that kind of stuff.

"Something like that. We'll have all the answers when Heiyu wakes up."

At the moment, this was just his speculation.

"Well, give me your hand."

"Why? Where are we?"

Xing Feng reached out his hand in confusion. When Yun Che touched him, the surroundings changed instantly. He found himself surrounded by birds and flowers, and in the distance, there were vast crop fields, huge mountains, and rushing rivers. This place was fragrant and tranquil, as if the legendary paradise.

"This is my Parallel Space."

Upon hearing that, Xing Feng turned to look at Yun Che rigidly. Though he had heard Yun Che describe this Space before, when he saw it with his own eyes, he was still in shock. Apart from the fact that it had no humans and buildings, this Space was no different from the outside world.

"Chenchen and my brother probably have gone out for a ride with the golden eagle."

Yun Che said as he walked over to the small puppy sleeping on the couch. Someone had covered him with a quilt, and Yun Che knew it must be Chenchen.

"The dying eagles you pocketed the last time?"

Xing Feng conjured some clothes and got changed. When Yun Che looked back and saw that, he was somehow amused, "I wouldn't suggest you put on any clothes now. You'll need to get naked soon, anyway."

"Uh-huh?"

Xing Feng paused a bit. Thinking about what Yun Che could be implying, Xing Feng's eyes lit up instantly. They hadn't had sex for half a month. Now that Yun Che had finally been awake, Xing Feng really wanted to enter his body in the most aggressive and passionate way. Doing out here in the wilderness sounded pretty thrilling to him.

"Seriously? Have some self-discipline, man."

Knowing what was on his mind, Yun Che lectured him immediately. Yun Cheng and Chenchen were in the Space at the moment. What if they came back while they were in the act? That was a risk they couldn't afford to take.

"Oh, that's not what you mean?"

To be fair, it was not Xing Feng's fault. Other than making love, he couldn't think of any scenario that would require him to take off his clothes.

"Of course not. Follow me."

Yun Che held his hand and took him to the Jade Spring. Before Xing Feng asked anything, Yun Che pointed at the water, saying, "This lake was formed by the spring water. If you soak here and drink the pure spring water, your body will be restructured and upgraded. But it'll hurt like hell. The more impurities your body contains, the more painful the cleansing progress will be. Are you brave enough to give it a shot?"

"You've already tried."

Xing Feng was sure about that, and he believed that was why Yun Che was so strong despite the skinny appearance.

"Yes, I did. And I'm not the only one that has soaked in this water. The Jade Spring gave my brother the ability to speak and helped Chenchen evolve to level 2. I like to take a bath here from time to time. It's good for health."

Yun Che responded with a smile. If a person soaked in this lake after his body was restructured, the spring water would continue to strengthen his body and enhance his power. What's more, it felt comfortable, which was why Chenchen always liked to take a bath in the lake.

"Sounds amazing. I can't miss this opportunity, can I?"

Xing Feng responded with a smile as he stroked his chin and shifted his gaze between Yun Che and the Jade Spring.

"Well, in that case, would you like me to help you get naked?"

Yun Che went forward to hold his neck and gave him a peck on the lips. This was the benefit of growing taller – he could kiss Xing Feng without standing on his tiptoes, though he was still ten centimeters shorter than Xing Feng.

"Why don't we take a bath together?"

Xing Feng wrapped his arms around Yun's waist and stuck out his lower body. The naughty piece inside his pants already stood up. Yun Che chuckled flirtatiously, "No problem. If you still have that kind of strength afterwards, I promise I'll do whatever you ask."

"That's a deal."

Xing Feng pinched Yun's nose before he took off all the clothes he was wearing, "Shall I jump in?"

"Uh-huh."

*Puff*

Yun Che nodded in agreement, and Xing Feng plunged into the lake. When he surfaced, Yun Che conjured a bottle of water and gave it to him. "I bottled this at the origin of the spring. Drink it."

Technically speaking, the water in the lake was clean enough to drink as the spring water had a cleansing effect. However, it felt kind of weird to drink the water from the lake where they bathed. Therefore, Yun Che always bottled the drinking water at the origin.

"Okay."

Xing Feng opened the bottle and drank most of the water inside. The next second, the bottle was dropped from his hand into the water, and his body started to shiver. He gritted his teeth with his eyes closed to fight against the intense pain, his forehead sweating.

"It might take a couple of hours. Hang in there. I'll come back for you later."

Yun Che jumped into the water and held Xing Feng to give the latter a peck. And then, he went ashore reluctantly, despite the slight twinge in his heart. Xing Feng opened his eyes but didn't say anything. They stared at each other for a while before Yun Che got changed and left. Xing Feng closed his eyes to suffer the pain.

At the other end of the Space, waves gently touched the rocks one after another, making a deep and melodious sound. The water in the sea was blue and clear, and the sand on the beach was silver and soft. With his hands clapping behind his back, Yun Che looked at the vast sea. The mist in the Space had all disappeared, and it now had all the landforms the earth had, including the plateau, plain, mountain, river, as well as the ocean, which was the last landform that had been unlocked. It was like another planet itself.

"So, this is the real Parallel Space?"

Yun Che mumbled involuntarily. When he transported Heiyu inside, he could feel that something had changed in the Space. He then tried to bring Xing Feng inside, and he managed to do it without feeling uncomfortable at all. Needless to say, this must have something to do with the drink Heiyu had given to him. Without that, he wouldn't have been able to unlock the ocean so quickly or bring Xing Feng inside.

"Heiyu, how many things have you been keeping from me?"

Yun Che looked up at the sky and mumbled. He knew that Heiyu had been keeping things from him, but he never pushed the latter for answers, as he believed Heiyu wouldn't do anything to hurt him. He knew Heiyu would tell him when the time comes. However, he didn't like the method that Heiyu had used to help him. This was more serious than the last time. He had been unconscious for like forever.
