Creator or Savior of the World

Sometimes if one cared about something too much, he might have no idea how to face it. That worked for Heiyu, so did his parents!

"Heiyu, I believe you are lack love! A lot of love!"

"Huh?"

"Haha!"

Yun Che concluded seriously, which stunned Heiyu directly. Xuan Po couldn't help laughing out, "Sorry I failed to restrain my laughter. Ming Yu, your master is right. Come to daddy's arms. Daddy loves you,"

As he said so, he opened his arms toward Heiyu.

"Oh, screw you! I don't have any father, and please save it if you mention anything about love!"

Heiyu roared back immediately. He wouldn't admit either Xuan Po or Ling Yin as his father.

"Oh, it hurts."

Xuan Po sighed sadly, and then once again supported his head with a single hand. No one could tell whether he was really upset or just said it randomly. Yun Che raised his hand and stroked Heiyu's head, "You just mentioned that you can work out a cure for the zombie virus? Is it the kind to turn zombies back into humans again or just a kind of depressor to get the virus controlled for the time being?"

Xing Feng and other members were still waiting out there anxiously. If he let the two continue the quarrel, he wouldn't be able to get back in a few days. Therefore, Yun Che changed the topic back to the previous one.

"The zombie virus has long mutated and I'm afraid I won't be able to offer a cure. No offense, but humans kind of asked for this. You know, if they didn't release the seal of the qilin's horn, the zombie virus would never get to you."

"But you are able to prevent the creature in the sea from being zombies. I see they were just mutant."

Yun Che fixed his gaze on Xuan Po. Obviously, he didn't buy his answer. Xuan Po smiled bitterly, "So, I see you can't remember any of your previous life. The Water qilin clan is born light sorcerers. Our bodies, blood, and even divine powers are all with purifying functions. I've been deep in the sea for too long to know what the sea seemed like, but the water still has the function we bring to it. So, even if the creatures are mutant, they won't become zombies. Creatures on the land, however, are not as lucky as they are. The thing is, even if I fertilize the land with my flesh and blood, I won't be able to free you from the virus."

Despite how strong their function was, their strengths were limited. Otherwise, he could have stopped this a long time ago and it wouldn't be an issue for humans to deal with at present.

"So, that's it? The outside world can do nothing but live with it?"

Yun Che rubbed his chin and asked with his eyebrows raised. For him, it didn't matter if doomsday would come to an end. In fact, compared to the days before it, he was kind of more comfortable in this world. But he still had the wish to end it if possible. After all, it was always human's wish to pursue peace and quietness.

"Not really. It's your decision to make."

If there was anyone in this world who might stop this, it must be God Ming Che.

"Me?"

Yun Che pointed at himself and found it hard to believe. Xuan Po nodded, "You can decide whether you want to be a Creator or a Savior of the world?"

"Creator? Savior? What's the difference?"

Yun Che couldn't tell any difference. Also, he wasn't interested in either choice Xuan Po had offered.

"If you choose to be the Creator, it means you will be like Xuan Tian, bringing all the rest of humans into your space and block all the entrances and exits. Once your space is totally another world, you will be the only God there, the Creator of the world; but if you choose to be the Savior, you'll have to integrate the two spaces. The zombie virus only spread because the aura in the world is too scarce. Once you provide the world enough aura, the zombie virus will disappear without notice, and all the zombies in the world will be purified and disappear soon. In the meantime, however, you and Xuan Tian will both be the owners of the integrated space, which means only one of you will survive in the end. Here is something you should know. Even if you can make it to survive, you can still be the God of the space, but you won't be able to control the creatures because you didn't create it. By then, you won't be qualified to become a Creator. That only makes you a Savior."

Since he was Ming Che, Xuan Po didn't hide but told him everything he knew.

"Why does it sound like I'm gonna suffer losses no matter how I choose?"

Yun Che raised his eyebrows and didn't make his decision, at least not for now.

"That's true. You have a third option, you know, just leave it the way it is."

Surprisingly, Xuan Po only nodded agreeably and didn't intend to either force or convince him to do so. Yun Che stared at him for a long time and then asked, "If I don't make any choice, you'll either kill Xuan Ming[XC1] and format the world to its original set or keep waiting? Am I right?"

"Actually, I only have one choice. There won't be another lucky guy who might bring changes to the world. So, my waiting would be forever."

And that was the last thing he would accept. Even though divine beasts could live forever, he still wanted to get back to the divine world and see Ling Yin again. So, he had to choose to format the world and start over, at least he didn't have to wait that long.

"Well, I didn't expect you to be like that. I thought guardians are supposed to guard his space at all costs. So, when you summoned us here, I had believed that you would rack your minds to convince me to be the Savior because that was your only path to get back to the divine world, right?"

Yun Che couldn't help laughing when saying that. He realized that he had begun to like this guy, at least it was funny to stay with him.

"If you are not God Ming Che, I did have such plan. I'll make you the Savior and integrate the two worlds even if I have to lie to you. I don't know if other guardian beasts would share the same thought, but I do want to get back to the divine world. Because I made a promise, and I have to make it!"

When he and Ling Yin were forced to separate, they had promised each other that they would try every possible way to get back together to their world and continue their relationship. Therefore, if sacrificing the world was the price, he would make sure that would happen.

"Ling Yin?"

"Yes."

"If so, I'll think about it. But before that, I have things to do first. As for Xuan Tian, I'd like to deal with him by myself."

Yun Che would give it a thought even if it was only for Heiyu's sake. He didn't care if he would be a Creator or a Savior. But if it was for Heiyu, he would like to make that choice.

"Xuan Tian? You've met him already?"

Otherwise, why did he say he wanted to deal with him by himself? Xuan Po frowned slightly. Did the thunder tribulation of Ninth Heaven damage the seal he had made?

"Not exactly. It was not him, but a dark shadow. I assume you have known what had happened in the Northeast Base, and I'm afraid he is helping behind. I just don't know what he is up to."

Yun Che nodded and then added after thinking, "He had once ordered his men to force Heiyu to drink some pills specially made for divine beasts and helped the young base commander of the Northeast Base catch Heiyu for research."

Now that he had offered special pills, he was surely aware of who Heiyu was, and that confused Yun Che. Why didn't he go against Yun Che but his beast? What good did it do to him?

"He wants to recreate this world, and he wants me dead so that he could get rid of the threat I've made to him."

It was out of Xuan Po's expectation that Xuan Tian had aimed at Ming Yu. He closed his eyes, smoothed his breath, and then said, "Just like me, he has been waiting for you as well. Once you show up, the thunder tribulation of Ninth Heaven will follow. The latter is enough to break through the seal I've made for him. With such help, it wouldn't take long for him to escape. After that, he will force you to hand over the spiritual vein of the earth's core and inject it into the earth's core. If so, even if the two worlds are not integrated, zombies will still be purified, which means you won't even make it to become a Savior. I'm afraid he didn't catch Heiyu for research. His real purpose is to question him for a method to kill you. Also, Heiyu will be his leverage to threaten you."

Even if Xuan Tian had become evil, he was still scheming. Xuan Po realized that his peaceful days had come to an end because he had to strengthen the seal from now on.

"How long does it take for him to ruin the seal?"

Yun Che's face turned solemn. Nobody could bear being calculated, Yun Che was no exception.

"I'm not sure. It depends on how badly it is. The only thing I'm sure of is that he hasn't made it yet. But if he could already release his soul to appear anywhere he wanted, I'd say soon. God Ming Che, you'll have to make your decision soon. You have to know that even if I strengthen the seal, it won't keep him for long. And once he succeeds, I'll kill him."

That was the only choice he had.

"I will. Did you mention that he had reached the peak of the Ascension Stage?"

A moment of softness cost him millions of years of waiting. How could he not regret it? Especially Ling Yin might have already got back there waiting for him.

"OK. I'll kill all the mutant human beings in the Northeast Base first. They won't survive doomsday. After that, I'll tell you my decision."

Actually, Yun Che would choose to be the Savior even if it was only for Heiyu. He could tell that Heiyu cared about his parents even if he didn't say so. Also, what was between Xuan Po and Ling Yin had touched him. He respected them given he had his loved one as well. After all, if he was separated from Xing Feng just like they were, he would definitely go crazy and do everything that might be out of his imagination to reverse it.

Love was the most beautiful emotion humans had ever had, but it was also something that could easily break people and drive them crazy. What Yun Che didn't know was that someone had already gone crazy for him.

"Thank you."

Xuan Po thanked him sincerely not only because he was willing to give it a thought but also he connected with Ming Yu when he was still God Ming Che. With his help, Ming Yu got rid of the insult from other clans and became the most royal species among all the divine beasts. Even though he had reborn as Yun Che, he still treated Ming Yu as his family. It was always a shame for beasts to be blood contracted with anyone, especially it was a single-way trip. But both Ming Che and Yun Che respected Ming Yu very much. So, even if he was blood-contracted, he was still superior to any other beasts.

"You don't have to. No matter what I do, I'm not doing it for you, or any human beings. I'm a selfish person, so I just make the decision based on my needs."

Yun Che stood up as he said so. Xuan Po followed as well, "God Ming Che, if you want to kill Xuan Tian by yourself, I suggest you do it before he breaks the seal. The seal could weaken his powers. Also, he won't know what we have discussed here, but he will know that you guys have come here today. This is a soul amulet. If, I mean if, if you need any help, crumb it, and I'll come to you immediately."

As he said so, something square like air floated in front of him. Yun Che took it directly into his space, "Thanks. I'll see you again."

After getting out of the palace, Heiyu once again transformed into his original size and had Yun Che on his back.

"Ming Yu, believe it or not, both Ling Yin and I were holding expectations when we had you."

Before they left, Xuan Po thought of what Yun Che had said and finally spoke his mind, in case he might have not another chance in the future. Once he did kill the owner of the space, he would be badly injured as well. Therefore, when the world was starting over again, he would fall asleep for long until the next lucky one showed up. And that might be millions of years later.

"You take care!"

Heiyu stared at him with emotions and finally took Yun Che out of the sea. Xuan Po followed a few steps behind them without realizing it, "Ming Yu!"

Seeing Ling Yin and his' only child disappearing, Xuan Po couldn't hold his smile anymore. Sorrow and sadness fulfilled his heart all of a sudden. How long exactly did he have to spend in this damn world before their family reunion?
