Goblin Nest

Inside a bush, there are three humanoid creatures hiding, seemingly planning something.

Abigail: "Those are the goblin scouts that guard their base."

Abigail: "We need to finish them quickly, or else there will be more goblin scouts joining the battle."

Abigail: "Last time, I battled them for too long and another group of goblin scouts joined in. And I have to make a run for it."

unknown: "Ok."

yynes0w0: "Got it."

Abigail: "We will jump out and ambush them. 3, 2, 1, Go!"

Then all three players jumped out of the bush. yynes0w0 enchanted unknown's bullet before jumping out and they deal increased damage when shot. unknown shot a few times at the two goblin scouts immediately. Abigail ran and took the role as a frontline. She used her sword and shield to block one of each goblins' attack. After she knocked them back, she ran towards one goblin and kicked it away. unknown immediately spammed his bullets on that goblin.

Abigail focused on the other goblin instead. The goblin tried to club Abigail in the face. But she blocked it with her shield. She kicked the goblin away. The goblin lost balance and kept taking steps back. Abigail rushed forward. The goblin saw it and swung his club right away. Abigail bounced the attack off easily using her shield and stabbed the goblin's neck using her sword. The goblin died a couple seconds later.

While Abigail was dealing with a goblin, the other goblin that Abigail kicked away changed his target towards unknown instead.

unknown: "Crap. Looks like my hate value is higher than Abigail. This hate system is quite interesting. Yes?"

As the goblin got closer, unknown shot more accurately. As soon as unknown got in the goblin's attack range, the goblin swung his club sideways. unknown stepped a few steps back to avoid the attack and kept spamming bullets at the goblin.

While guns shoot off the quickest projectiles, they have the lowest damage in the game. Meanwhile slower projectiles like arrows or magic missiles deal much more damage than bullets.

unknown dodged the goblin's attack easily and spammed bullets towards him. For kiting around about a couple minutes, the goblin is dead.

unknown: "Ugh, my hands and legs felt tired. Ima turn off tiredness sense."

While unknown is sitting down and relax, yynes0w0 stripped off goblin's equipment.

Abigail: "How is the equipment?"

yynes0w0: "The club has the same stats as starter hammer, but the durability is higher. While the clothes have the same stats as starter cape, the durability is higher as well."

Abigail: "So no upgrades."

As soon as Abigail said that, she threw the club away.

unknown: "If you don't mind, I will take it away."

unknown got up immediately and took the club and the clothes of the other goblin.

Abigail: "Hmm? What do you need that for?"

unknown and yynes0w0 looked at each other and a sinister grin appear on their face.

unknown: "Heheheheheh…"

yynes0w0: "Heheheheheh…"

Abigail: "…"

Abigail: "Can you guys tell me!!!"

yynes0w0: "Other than for collection, I just thought of breaking down these equipment and remaking them into other equipment."

unknown: "To be honest, if I have a container for goblin blood, I will definitely get some of those tasty blood too!"

unknown: "Goblin skin might make a good leather equipment. Goblin meat might taste good. Goblin bone might make a good staff or soup. Goblin blood… Well, for Halloween or rituals?"

Abigail: "…"

Abigail showed a face of shock and disgust.

unknown: "This is called 'recycle', ok?"

yynes0w0: "Yeah!"

yynes0w0 nodded in agreement.

Abigail twitched her mouth and said.

Abigail: "You do you. Hahaha…"

Then she turned around and sat down to recover her stamina.

Not long later, she heard unknown's crazy laugh and intense stabbing sounds, also the sound of yynes0w0's evil mastermind snicker.

Abigail: "…"

…

unknown: "We are done!"

Abigail: "Yeah?"

Abigail stood up and turned around expecting to see her teammates. But she only saw two bloody humanoid creatures walking menacingly towards her.

Abigail: "…"

unknown: "Let's continue!"

yynes0w0: "Yeah!~"

Abigail twitched her mouth and said.

Abigail: "Can you at least swipe off some of your blood. The scent is too strong and my nose can't withstand it."

unknown: "You can turn off your smell sense, you know."

yynes0w0: "Don't worry! Those blood won't affect our battle power."

unknown: "Mmm! Mmm!"

unknown nodded with eyes shining. But he looked like demon that came out of the deepest depth of hell instead.

Abigail: "…"

Abigail twitched her mouth and decided to ignore her teammates.

Abigail: "Then let's continue. I believe the next group of goblin scouts will come by very quickly."

After a few more encounters with a couple groups of goblin scouts, they finally reached the entrance of the goblin dungeon.

yynes0w0: "So it is a cave."

unknown: "It would seems like so."

unknown nodded nobly like a wise man. Abigail used her elbow to poke unknown in order to stop his ridiculous action.

unknown: "What."

Abigail: "Stop playing around."

unknown: "But we are still playing around."

Abigail: "…"

Abigail: "Let's head in."

A screen popped up in front of them when they tried to head in. The minimum level required to enter this dungeon is level 10. They can set the dungeon level to double of the level of the highest level player inside the team. It also stated that the highest type of monsters players will encounter in this dungeon will be chief monsters.

unknown: "Chief monster? What is that?"

Abigail: "Check your monster encyclopedia for the detailed explanation. There are 10 types of monsters, common monsters, uncommon monsters, rare monsters, elite monsters, leader monsters, chief monsters, king monsters, dominator monsters, lord monsters and world monsters. The starting level in order to encounter them are 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500 and 1000 respectively."

Abigail: "I've only encountered uncommon monster one time before. It is when I was level 4. That wolf is only level 2 but I think the actual level for players is 4 instead. That wolf's damage is too high and the speed is too quick. I died in less than a minute."

unknown: "Wow! I wonder what world monsters are like."

yynes0w0: "Don't count me in when fighting those monsters of monsters."

While unknown is looking forward for it, yynes0w0 stay out of it because she knew she is bad at games."

Abigail: "Alright, what level difficulty should we choose?"

unknown: "Level 25."

yynes0w0: "Yeah, we should be fine with that."

Abigail thought for a second then agreed. Then the three of them headed in. Abigail walked in front, unknown walked behind Abigail and yynes0w0 followed them at the back. Not long later, they encounter goblins.

Abigail: "How are you keep hitting me!?! Most of the damage I received are coming from you!!!"

unknown: "Well stop complaining girl! You blocked most of the goblin body! How am I supposed to hit that accurately! If I can, I would have chosen the sniper class instead!"

Abigail: "Then stop shooting!

unknown: "Ok."

unknown sat down and watches Abigail's fighting show.

Abigail: "…"

unknown: "Come and have a seat too."

yynes0w0: "Ok."

Both unknown and yynes0w0 sat down and watch Abigail's fighting show.

Abigail: "…"

Abigail grinded her teeth and clenched her fist.

Abigail: "Get up and help me!"

Abigail found out that without support from the back, she needed to block more often and the damage output is much lower.

unknown: "What? I get up and blast my guns? Nah… I don't want to be scolded again."

Abigail: "…"

unknown: "Sigh, that's why I say women are annoying. You do what they ask and you still get scolded. Even if you don't do what they say, you still get scolded."

unknown shrugged and spread out his hands, closed his eyes and shook his head like he is the innocent one.

Abigail: "…"

Abigail: "I swear this guy is sent by god to trigger me."

After an hour of sweeping through the dungeon, the three of them stood in front of a cloth door.

unknown: "When did the boss door looked so…"

yynes0w0: "Bad?"

Abigail: "Special?"

unknown: "No… Impoverished."

They all looked at the cloth door and nodded at the same time.

Abigail: "Let's head in."

After they entered through the cloth door, they see a hobgoblin. unknown shot a couple shots at it. The hobgoblin blocked a couple shot with his butcher knife but failed to block all of them. 'Level 2. Hobgoblin Elite' is shown above it. Although it is just level 2, but the three of them knew when it compares to player level, it is actually level 20 instead.

All of the hobgoblin's attack was blocked by Abigail. And almost all of the damage the hobgoblin received was from unknown. At some point, hobgoblin turned and target unknown instead but was blocked by Abigail. Although the damage output per second went lower. They all three managed to defeat the hobgoblin at last.

unknown: "My fingers, hands and arms are numb!"

Abigail: "Didn't you turn off tiredness system?"

unknown: "Well, I turned it down to 10%."

While they were talking, unknown and yynes0w0 didn't stop and gather materials left by hobgoblin.

yynes0w0: "The equipment quality is high!"

unknown: "Oh? yes indeed."

yynes0w0: "Do you need to switch weapons?"

yynes0w0 asked Abigail. After fighting goblins, Abigail will switch her weapon when those weapons provide more stats. Then when those weapons' durability went down and the stats provided went down because of it, Abigail gave those weapons to unknown and yynes0w0 since she didn't need it at all.

Abigail: "No need, but I will keep it for now."

Abigail put the butcher knife into her temporary storage.

Players have storage of their own. It is like fourth dimension storage box. Players can put in or take out items wherever or whenever they want. It is just that all the items stored inside the storage will spill out on the spot once the player died, hence the name 'temporary storage'. The storage has limited space too. So players can't really store infinite items in it.

After some dismantling time, the three players got out of the goblin dungeon.

unknown: "Wow, I'm like level 17 already."

yynes0w0: "Having a high level player who helps leveling up is very effective."

unknown: "Yes indeed. Yes indeed."

unknown touched his chin and acted like a noble. Abigail face palmed and decided to ignore him.
