unknown then looked at the map and the time.

The pursuers saw that they lost all 3 people. Then they started attacking people aimlessly.

unknown: "Heck! I blended in with the crowd! I even took off my equipment! And they keep killing innocent people! The heck dude. Those pursuers are sick."

Because of the pursuers' attacks. unknown had to dodge and hide. Most of the time had been spent on keeping his life safe. And that's how Abigail never met unknown.
