"Yawn. This sleepy feeling is so realistic. I would believe myself being transferred into another world right now if I cannot quit playing."

unknown got up from 'bed' saying.

After unknown and Abigail finally met up in front of the restaurant. They talked about their experiences and adventure in Debashakala. Compared to Abigail joining the adventure guild, unknown's grand escape is much more exciting.

Later, the player bandit incident happened. Abigail and unknown separated because of that. Then unknown freely roamed inside Debashakala. He saw that the sun was setting and he still cannot find a library. So, he decided to rest until morning. He found a dead end of a dark alley. Then he threw tons of starter capes on the ground, making a cloth mountain. After that, he dived right into the cape ocean.

"Hmm…"

unknown looked around and noticed that aside from the capes he is touching right now, all the other capes are gone for some reason. That reminded him earlier when himself, his sister and Abigail were throwing the starter equipment into the equipment mountain. As time went on and they kept building, the equipment pile seemed less. When near finish building, they had to even get new starter equipment. And after building, when there should be no one touching the starter equipment pile, the starter equipment pile was gone after time.

"They disappear when no one touches them for some time?"

While unknown guessed this phenomenon, he checked himself was being robbed or not.

unknown glanced at the game map provided by the system on top left. Then he decided to head there and investigate.

His slow paced walking speed suddenly changed to quick paced running speed. This is to test if there are any pursuers that unknown himself missed. If the target suddenly changed from walking to running, the pursuer must think that they must be found out. So, they will start running towards the target as well. Then they will be exposed. If they didn't do that, they will lose their target instead. So, either way is a win for unknown.

When unknown started running, he glanced behind just to find out a figure started running towards his direction too! Dang it! When I thought I should be safe and did the last step just to be sure, then reality showed me, I am not safe!

unknown kept running. The figure behind him kept a distance behind him not too far nor too close, seemingly can caught up at any moment. unknown saw that he almost finished the path he decided to run. He immediately looked at the map and planned on future escape paths.

Suddenly, a hooded figure appeared in front of unknown from a corner. He was focusing on the map and when he found out there is a big spot of black colour in his vision, he was too late to stop. So, he bumped into the hooded figure. He felt like he bumped into a hardened enchanted concrete wall instead of a person. He felt an immense amount of pain… not. But he knew the pain will cause him to be unable to move if he didn't lower the pain sense. Just look at the dropped durability just because of a single bump and know how painful it is. Different from pain of a certain area because of battle, this large area of pain felt worse for unknown. That hooded figure stood still like nothing happened, unknown fell on the ground instead. After saying that, unknown saw the hooded person who is also a female had eye contact with the pursuer behind him. Then unknown felt a hit from behind and his screen went black quickly.

So… I fainted? unknown then saw a 'Sleeping I' status effect on him. Ok, got it. While waiting to wake up, unknown proceed to browse the internet.

When the status effect was gone, unknown stopped what he was doing. He then returned to the game and looked at the game time. 10 o'clock at night, 11 hours had passed. I slept for that long, huh? He began to feel his body without opening his eyes. He was tied. To be more accurate, only his legs and hands were tied. Then he opened his eyes to check the surroundings.

This place looked like a basement. The walls looked like they were made of black bricks. The ground and ceiling were made of… slate? I believe so. There was a light bulb looking thingy hanging on top of the ceiling. It glowed at a faint light such that it brightened the area without hurting the eyes when looking at it directly.

Huh, weren't the books and movies always show that the one who was being interrogated will meet his interrogator and his interrogation when they woke up? Why was I left alone here?
