Chapter 36: Olivia

St. George Street was still active as tourists and locals alike bounced between stores and pubs. She could hear laughing and yells coming from within a rustic looking bar and decided another drink was definitely in order. She needed something to take her mind off the chaos that had become her relationship.

However, as she stepped past the bouncer at the door, she knew the chaos had been stirred into a tornado, for there stood Patrick—her Patrick—sprinkling salt on the belly of the blonde who had been clinging onto him all night long. Everyone around them was cheering as Patrick leaned down, licked the salt off the woman’s skin, and then downed a shot of tequila before shoving a slice of lime between his lips. The woman giggled, the spectators cheered, and Olivia just turned and walked back out. She ducked her head as she passed the bouncer and stepped back out into the humid night.

“Nothing happening inside?”
