Darcy stared at the letter in distaste. 

She knew it was a ploy to get her to the palace but she wanted to avoid getting on Clarissa's bad side. 

She also respected Clarissa for keeping to her word and bringing about the change which was ongoing in the kingdom. 

She would just have to make sure she ignored Raven's presence. It would be like he didn't exist. 

But the issue was how to convince her father. 

She sighed and turned to face him. "Father, it's a royal summons." she said in a patronizing tone. 

"I don't care if we have to move away from here but you are not going to that palace!" her father argued hotly. 

"I don't see why we have to relocate just because the princess complained about the maids messing up the clothes you made."

"Because it's obviously a ploy for that slime to see you."
