Darcy awoke to a quiet room.

There was light in the fireplace to keep her warm and candles lit in the room for her to see.

But she found it quite odd that the palace had no electricity. Then again she preferred the heat and warmth from actual flames to the one provided by electricity. Still electricity has proven to have its uses.

Although she was grateful for what she had and wouldn't be seen complaining.

She heard the distant call of a bird and sat up.

Where was she? She questioned herself.

She remembered taking a nap on the sewing machine. So how did she get here? And where was this place?

She stretched her arms and gave a tired yawn.

The sleep had done her a lot of good. But she still wanted to know how she got here.
