He smirked and looked down at her, a devilish smile in his eyes that set her nerves frantic. 

"Since you find my servants unsuitable to serve your needs, you might be the best person to serve them yourself."

"Ex... excuse me?!" she spluttered in shock. 

"Dimitri. she will be washing her clothes herself and will be cleaning her room as well." he said turning to his most trusted servant. “I am quite sure she is capable of running her bath and dressing herself... "

"How dare you?... " she asked harshly at the insult. 

"Would you like to prepare your meals and perhaps do the dishes as well?" Kieran asked looking back at her with a glint in his eyes. 

But she remained silent and shocked beyond belief. 

"I thought as much. Well we will be leaving you to your chores." he said stepping on her clothes as he walked out with the maid and Dimitri. 

"And by the way," he said stopping just outside the door. "I'd hate to see my castle looking untidy. So unless you wish to face the consequences, I suggest you do a good job."

This time he walked off without stopping and the sound of her screeches echoed off the walls.

Burning Hatred: Entwined Destinies

First of all, I hate my school 🥺. Secondly, I'm really grateful you guys waited for so long and were so patient but our academic calendar got adjusted twice and our exam timetable was shifted thrice. We suddenly had to write tests which thankfully went well and currently I'm still writing my exams which are supposed to end on the 23rd of this month if they don't come up with another reason to shift the timetable. So I'm sorry everyone. We'll have to resume this book on the 24th. Five chapters as promised.

Darcy took her leave from the dining hall after the lunch she'd had with Clarissa and set out to find Raven.

She had thought long and hard on this and Clarissa's words seemed to mock her.

She heard the sound of the flute again and followed it to the same room as before.
