Why is it that every time I fall unconscious I wake up in a different place than before. At least I'm not in the void anymore so I guess I could consider this an improvement.
I mean a dark room without windows is better than the void... right? Don't judge me. I'm just trying to be optimistic here.
Back to the situation at hand.
The room I am in right now is made out of huge stone blocks. The best comparison would probably be a dungeon from some random fantasy game or an anime.
I am just gonna pretend that nobody abducted my soul from whatever afterlife I was in until now.
Maybe I should feel honored that someone actually when through with that just for little old me.
That fact I am even considering this speaks volumes about my deteriorating sanity.
I am not even really sure if I have a body right now.
I mean I think so since I can at least feel 'something'.

Oh. Now that is interesting as it appears that there is at least one other person walking around in this place. Though again I am not sure if this is something I should be happy about since they could very much want to torture me.
But that's just how the dice falls.
One day you are drinking with your friends after work and the next day you get kidnapped from the void into an underground sex dungeon...

Hmm... Someone else is coming. Oh God...
I am very happy that I don't have a face right now, because whatever that thing right there is, I would be puking if I had one.
I know I shouldn't judge someone based on their appearance, but seriously, not even a mother could love that face.
The thing that just came into the room could be described as a crossbreed between Cuthulu and a Predator from The Alien movies.
And it is being followed by a skeleton?
Wait. Wait. Wait. Wait.
I know that skeleton. At least I think so. My memories are still a bit fuzzy after everything that happened to me. But luckily I still seem to remember most things. The only thing that I can't seem to remember regardless of how much I try appear to be the names and faces of everyone I knew including my own.
Do I even have to mention how stupid I feel not being able to remember my own name.
It's like someone asking what is 1+1, but no matter how much you try you just can't seem to figure it out even though the answer is obvious.
So back to the current problem of two monsters standing before me. Like I already said, although his Equipment is obviously different, he bears a striking resemblance to the main character of one of my favorite animes.
What was his name again? Nomu? Mongo?
Right Momonga. At least before he took the name of the guild as his own.
"So, are you ready Momonga-san" asked the eldritch abomination in the tone of an excited child.
I don't even understand how he is talking since his body does not look like it has vocal cords capable of human language. Or any vocal cords at all for that matter.
"I don't understand how you can be so exited about creating an NPC?" asked Momonga with what I presume is a deadpan expression (or at least it would have been if his face was a bit less bony).
"I mean seriously, most of the others don't even bother to create NPCs at all, much less making them as detailed as yours are" continued Momonga.
"But it is one of the best parts of this game! The NPCs we create are a representation of our guild and therefore us. So I am a firm believer that you should put the same amount of effort into it, that you put into managing your own character." retorted the Monstrosity.
"Hmm... I suppose so. But sadly most of us simply don't have the time for it. Some of us are already using most of their holidays just to farm resources and participate in the limited events." Momonga said in a sad tone. "A few barely manage to still log on as it is, Tabula-san."
"That's the world we live in." answered the now named Tabula
So let me get this straight, whatever pulled me out of the void thought it was a funny idea to stuff me into the Overlord anime...
Does that mean I am in a game right now?
And I am not gonna delude myself that I am not the NPC they are talking about.
Uh. I feel a headache coming already. Does that mean I will have to wait until the start of the anime before getting a real body?
Now that I think about it, the one who seems to be my creator also had a short appearance in the anime, didn't he? I think his full name was Tabula Smaragdina.
I am honestly a bit impressed that I still know his name, but I fail to remember which NPC was created by him.
And while most of the NPCs in the show had a pretty good character design there were some of them I really don't want to swap places with.
Don't get me wrong Cocytus, Mare, Sebas and all the others were great characters to watch, but being a giant insect samurai, crossdressing dark elf boy or old dragonoid butler doesn't really appeal to me.
Although they might still be some of the better choices considering I could also end up as giant cockroach...
Let's hope that whoever brought me here isn't sadistic enough to do something like that. (•_•)
"So what did you have in mind for this one?"
asked Momonga
"Well, you know that most of the floor guardians are already created and Touch Me is currently making the head butler, which I think is gonna be a dragonoid" Tabula Smaragdina paused for a brief moment. "So I was thinking about creating something like a secretary for the guild leader that serves as an Overseer for the other floor guardians."
Overseer? There was only one NPC who would fit that title and although her personality was pretty questionable her character design still made her one of the fan favorites.
"Do you already have a name and race in mind?"
questioned Momonga.
"I was originally thinking about making her an angel of the highest order, but I wanted to combine it with a dream monster, so I kinda ended up with a succubus instead." Tabula explained "And as for a name. Well, you know how I am very much into alchemy and the like."
"And while I was searching for words that would fit her description I kinda ended up with one that represents purity." Tabula paused before continuing "The name I came up with is Albedo"
'YES YES YES YES YES Jackpot!' I practically screamed in my mind.
I mean, who didn't like seeing her on screen?
I sure as hell enjoyed every moment of it.
The only thing that has me worried now is how the character background information is going to effect my personality?
It probably doesn't matter to much now that we are still in the game, but I really don't want to turned on by a pile of bones. It was funny to watch in the show, but I am really not into that kind of thing.
"I see. This is what I meant when I said how much effort you put into your creations." said Momonga, who had been listening through most of the explanation "What about her classes and appearance?"
Tabula continued to give a detailed explanation about a status build mainly focused on physical attack and defense including a decently sized list of skills. Most of which were never mentioned in the show so I really don't know much about what they do.
After that Momonga made a few additions and suggestions to that list. Mainly regarding spell combinations that would support you in a melee fight. He also mentioned necessary counter measures against a magic caster like himself.
They continued with their conversation for a while, before Momonga bid Tabula Smaragdina farewell.
As soon as Momonga had left, Tabula turned to me.
"So were did I stop last time?" Tabula whispered to himself "Right, the horns."
What followed after that was a hour long session of changing my body type and appearance into more than a dozen different configurations.
It didn't hurt, but was still one of the most uncomfortable moments in my life.
