Escape 3

Paige gulped and she looked around the dark forest area that liked even more scarier in the darkness.

She did escaped ,but now she was stucked again. She didn't knew the way back. She wanted to scream, she wanted to sob, but no words come out of her mouth.

She leaned against one of the big trees in the forest and sighed. And that's when a lone years escaped her eyes and rolled down her cheeks.

Paige wasn't some who would cry. She wasn't the damsel in distress who wanted her knight in shining armor to rescue her from trouble, rather she was become her own knight with golden armor.

Growing up, she never liked princesses. For her, they were boring and overrated. She was the girl would would rather watch an action movie over the sappy movies of princess who needed someone's help to escape her problems.

But at this moment, she didn't really knew what more to think of. She was tired and vulnerable.

And she was emotionally exhausted too. She wanted to nothing more but to snuggle her father , feel the sense of protection again, be his little girl again.

If only she didn't made the mistake of hitting her kidnapper too hard.

[Flashback to few hours ago.

Paige looked at herself in the mirror and sighed.

This is it. Her way to escape this whole thing.

All she have to do is act accordingly to the plan. And just like that, she started fidgeting with both of her hands as if she was trying to do something.

"Stop moving so much! You almost gave me concussion!" He snapped at her in anger to which she only smirk.

"Stop being such a princess! I was just trying to open something! But oh, I am really sorry your majesty, for hurting you." Even though Paige mocked him, but Xavier stiffened. He never told her about him being a prince ,how did she got to know? Numerous thought crossed his mind but he didn't find any answer.

"Listen, Mr. Kidnapper princess. Open then God damn handcuff, I can't even move properly." And just on cue , she moved her cuffed hand harshly , and he heard a loud bang sound and the next second, he was in front of her.

Looking at her in anger.

"If you even think of escaping, I swear It won't be good for you!"He warned as he finally opened the handcuff.

Paige had a really hard time to hide the big grin that was ready to escape. But she cleared her throat and and looked down.

"Dare you try to escape." He warned her one last time before walking out of the room , closing the door in process.

Paige sighed and quickly locked the door from inside and looked around for any thing that she could use for her protection. And that's when I eyes fell on the piece of pipe that was near the basin. He quickly go the pipe and held it with one and and then jumped on the counter of the basin and tried to open the door very careful.

This was indeed going to be dangerous. And then she did what she had to. She opened the door and even before he could react she hit him on his head and ran as fast as her legs could take.

Padding the old mansion like house and once she was out of the premises, she realized she was stucked. There was no was to run. The road looks abandoned and next to road was a forest.

And since it was around evening, the sun was setting at that made the area look more dangerous than ever. ]

Paige wanted to kick herself from doing the mistake. She was now stuck in a place where there did a high chance of her getting eaten by some wild animal.

"Why am I so dumb!"She whispered to herself but stilled as her head the crunched of dried leaves.

Someone was coming.

She quickly hid herself against the tree and peek slightly to see who was coming. And just when she was about to take another peek, she heard him. She heard his voice as he walked toward her direction.

She filed in nervousness as she heard his words.

" Don't worry. I will find her. And once I do, she will be served the punishment that she couldn't never imagine in her life." He said to someone. And when she didn't heard anyone replying back to him, she knew he was on call.

So, that means he is alone.

Now all she have to do is calm herself, and the run toward the direction of the road as soon as she finds the chance , and as soon as her legs could take.

And before she could escape, goosebumps erupt all over her back ant hair in her nape. And that a warm breath teased her ear before she head him.

"Gotcha." She stilled for a moment but didn't turn.

"Were you trying to run away from me, princess?" His dark ,huskey voice resulted goosebumps all over her body.

And even before she could reached , he pinned her against the tree and stepped in closer. His held both of her hand and twisted it behind her back.

"I told you ,princess, consequences won't be nice if you try to escape me! And you did exactly opposite of that!" His warm breath fanned her neck as he whispered in her ear, with each word he spoke, his lips teasing you touched her.

"I said let me go!" Paige didn't respond but said with a voice that held no emotion.

"And what are you even going to do if I don't?" He mocked and pushed her against the tree and her cheeks gazed the bark of the tree rather harshly. She closed her eyes and opens them.

She turned her head towards him and did. what did when the first time she met him. headbutt him as hard as she could. And she his grip loosen, she took to opportunity to escape again.
