Natalia

'Damian' simply stares at Lucian. Cassandra knows that Natalia is trying to scan him, to see if he intends to help her. Cassandra hadn't really been given the opportunity to explain much to Natalia, but she wasn't really even sure how. The whole situation is just a lot to take in and it seems to become more and more complicated. Even she is having trouble really digesting it.

"I am, "Damian speaks confidently, "Are you someone I can trust?"

Her tone is suspicious, angry even.

Lucian speaks calmly, "I am, Shadow and I both are aware of the situation. Shadow knows more than myself, though."

Shadow doesn't acknowledge them, just stares at the small bloodstain on the floor.

"Shadow."

Cassandra almost laughs as Shadow just scowls at the bloodstain.

"Hello, Shadow? Is anyone there?"

Shadow looks over at them finally, clearly irritated, "What?"

Lucian simply gives him a look and shakes his head, "You know more about this than myself. I'll take care of the stain."

Shadow eyes him suspiciously before nodding, "Fine, but only because this is important."

Shadow sits himself on the couch as Lucian stands, heading to the kitchen. Cassandra watches as he walks into the kitchen, coming back into the room with a spray to remove the stain.

"So, how much do you know about all this?" Natalia asks casually.

Shadow pauses before speaking, "I know more than I probably should. Cas said that you are partly 'lycan', you just don't transform. Your eyes show that, as well. Damian's aren't gold, demons eyes are always dark."

Cassandra notices as Natalia seemed to scan Shadow as well, more than likely trying to figure out his intentions.

"I'm here to help. Cas is...like a sister to both Lucian and I. Otherwise, we wouldn't be helping," He states," There is a reason demons and 'hyrbrids' don't mix well. I'm not sure how Damian didn't notice or bother to pay attention, but your soul will eventually take him over and consume his body."

"Will I take his or become air, basically?"

He hums thoughtfully, "The body will be gone, but you will also become part demon. Which, is a problem. Damian's memories, his deeds, will go to you. I don't know how that will go, though. You could lose your humanity or even your love for Cassandra. It all depends on the situation.

Natalia's expression becomes more worried and less suspicious, "How do I escape, then? And, how do we get out of this situation?"

"You need to escape his 'stomach' before you end up consuming him and then we need to basically kill him."

The way Shadow says it made it sound so easy, but Cassandra knew it wasn't. Nothing is ever that easy. Nothing is easily done, anyway.

"Yes, but how do I escape?"

"You're already halfway there, being you can control his body. I don't know how long it will take, but eventually, you'll find your way out."

"The only problem with that is her own body. It's gone, he said he got rid of it?"

"When?"

"When did he say it or when did he dispose of it?"

"Well, both, "Shadow scratches the back of his head.

"He discarded my body when he killed me and trapped my soul, well me, here."

"How long has it been?"

She gives him an irritated look, "Does it look like I have a sense of time in here?"

Shadow sighs, "Fine, when was the last time you were alive?"

And, the discussion has begun. Cassandra listens as Shadow and Natalia converse back and forth, trying to find how long she'd been dead. Natalia is confused and angry. Shadow is frustrated. It is not going well.

"How do you not remember the day you died?!"

"What, was I supposed to look at the date afterwards and think, 'Oh no, it's whatever day and I'm dead?"

"Yes!"

She gives him an irritated look, "This is why I don't talk to skin walkers. You all think you're so damn smart."

"You've dealt with others?"

She sighs, "Yes, it's not a fond memory. That's not the point here and it feels like I'm running out of time."

"Is he starting to take control again?"

"Yes," She sighed.

"Well, we'll talk again once you have control back. We'll have to play this off as if we have no idea what's going on," Shadow looks over at Lucian," Is that bloodstain gone yet?'

Lucian gives Shadow a sour look, "Yes, it's gone. Your OCD can calm down now."

He shakes his head, laughing to himself as he walks into the kitchen.

"Should I head to his room, then?"

Shadow gives a thoughtful look, thinking to himself," Maybe you should stay out here. Lay on the couch and we'll just play it off like he passed out. It might gain his trust and lower his guard."

"That is a good idea, "Lucian speaks from the kitchen opening.

"Should we just act casual, then? And, what are we going to do about Julien?"

"I'll go find Julien and we'll come back when the situation has been settled. Knowing him, he'll cause a problem and ruin the plan."

Cassandra nods, feeling slightly worried. Natalia lays herself on the couch as they all speak.

"You know, I think we'd all have been close had the situation not been like this," Natalia comments.

Shadow sighs, "I agree, but if this pans out well...then we have a 'forever friendship', so to say."

They smile lightly, the weight of the situation still on their shoulders.

"Well, I'll be trying to find my way out of here as you two plan the rest. We can do this together, but I'm sure it won't be easy."

"We'll figure this out somehow."

Natalia nods as she lifted her head in their direction, "We're gonna be okay, love...I know you miss me as much as I do you. I love you."

Cassandra stares at her for several moments, smiling at her fondly.

"I love you, too," She whispered as Natalia lost control over Damian's body.

"You know," Shadow whispers,"If I didn't know that was Natalia, that whole situation would have been so odd."

They both stifle a laugh as they watch as Damian's body went limp as if he was sleeping. They remain silent, looking at each other before nodding. They make a plan to keep him there, but is t better to give him more comfort? You know, make him think that he had passed out and they carried him to his room? Carrying him to his room sounded like it would make him trust them more, in a way. Especially, if they keep an eye on him. Cassandra stands up, stretching as she yawns.

"Do your abilities tire you out?" Shadow asks as they picked him up.

"Sometimes, it depends how much they're used or how."

Shadow nods, and she remains silent. She wants to say more, but the sleeping demon prevents that. She feels a strange energy when their skin touched, but she passes it off as something that happens due to a "binding deal". Or, is it because of Natalia?

Her thoughts are interrupted by Damian stirring in his sleep, "What are you two doing with me?"

They both pause briefly, still carrying him in their arms.

"You passed out, so we were carrying you to your room, "Shadow speaks casually.

Damian remains silent shortly," Did I say or do anything weird again, or did I just pass out and how long was I passed out?"

"Not too long ago, and you just fell to the floor. We wanted to make sure you were alright, you looked exhausted."

Damian nods, seeming to believe their story," I have been drained lately, especially with these weird episodes. I'm sorry that I worried you two."

Cassandra feels a sense of sorrow for Damian. She can tell it's either Natalia's energy or his own emotions, maybe even both, making him seem so vulnerable. Open, even.

"Damian," Cassandra speaks softly," How exactly did you become a demon?"
