Corruption and Abomination

Ingvild P.O.V (Starting at the Same time as Rias's Fight)

Watching her mistress take off, Ingvild already knew who her target was going to be. Sprouting a set of pure white dragon wings, she took off into the sky. Quickly, she became a blur with speed comparable to the earlier Gae Bolg as she maneuvered around any fallen angels that happened to be in her way. A few seconds later she stopped as she arrived at her target.

Slithering in front of her was the extremely long serpent that threatened to reveal the supernatural community's existence to the greater humanity. It was a long grey western serpent dragon in appearance with two fins where its ears should be. The aura it radiated terrified every fallen angel around it. Still though, it was underwhelming. It certainly didn't match her master's aura who was a goddess of the end. It almost felt…...fake.

"So, Loki made a fake. It's clearly still a dragon; it's just not anywhere near the level of that Fenrir over there." She mumbled to herself as she glanced at Serefall engaging Fenrir.

'I think I chose the wrong target. I should have known it'd be a fake. If it were real, then the town would've been flattened by now.' She thought as her trident appeared in her hand.

"Well then, since you can't give me a challenge, I'll just have some fun with you." She said with a cute pout.

With that, she raised her trident and a massive orb of super condensed water grew and rose into the sky. With a thought, a series of tentacles started coming out of it. Finally, she took out a green orb she had asked Valerie for during their training session. Valerie could create life. The question she hoped would be a yes was, could she cast the magic in advance in a sealed and portable form.

She touched the orb to her trident and let it absorb the one-time spell. Then, she pointed it at the new tentacle orb. Within moments, the orb of water opened a large eye in its center. It kind of resembled a beholder in those fantasy games she saw on the internet.

"It's cute. I really need more of these. You know what? I'll make an army. Yeah, that's what I'll do" She mumbled with a silly smile. She would make an army and carry it around with her. Her trident also functioned as a portable world of water. It was entirely possible to do. She just hoped Valerie would be willing.

Silently pointing her trident at the dragon clone, the beholder mentally acknowledged her orders.

Soon, it was shooting its tentacles at the serpent who blew flame at it in return. It really was silly to watch. This serpent seemed to be roughly at the level of low ultimate class, while her hastily made water beholder was a little above it in power.

The dragon would destroy a tentacle, only for it to reform. The beholder would try crushing its neck, only for the clone to pull its head back and escape the bind. Truly, the clone couldn't do any damage to a being made of water and the beholder couldn't get enough leverage to do anything serious as well.

Soon though, a man's voice rang across the battle field in mirth changing the situation.

"Mr. Beholder! Try pushing the tentacles in the snake's mouth. Think hentai!" Said a man who, upon further observation, was clearly Azazel.

When that was said, a few weird gazes looked in his direction, then at the beholder, and finally at the slowly paling snake.

"What's hentai?" her head tilted as Ingvild tried to understand what Azazel was trying to get at.

'Is it some new form of battle technique?' She thought as the beholder seemed to piece together what it should do. Moving its tentacle toward the snake's mouth and other orifices, the beholder seemed to have an instinctual understanding of what needed to be done. The poor dragon clone was shivering in absolute fear as its day was about to end very badly.

The next bit began traumatizing anyone who witnessed it. Hell, half of Azazel's own men began to look at him with fury. This was supposed to be an important battle and they had to witness this!? Even Azazel's eyes burned at the scene.

"Maybe that was a mistake?" He said to himself as his eyes continued to burn.

"You think!?" said quite a few of his men in a rare lack of decorum.

Ingvild on the other hand was pondering on what was happening in front of her.

"This is such an effective technique. To turn a stalemate into an absolute victory. I need to do more research." She mumbled to herself, confirming to the word that a previously innocent dragon was about to be corrupted.

(Rias's P.O.V)

Over on Rias's side, she shivered. 'Why would you do that Azazel? You corrupted my innocent Ingvild. My sweet innocent Ingvild.' With that somber thought, a lone tear came from her right eye. Sighing, she looked toward Michaels's battle as it was coming to a close. Michael was leagues above Kokabiel, but Loki was making it tough for him. On more than one occasion, she wanted to help but received a head shake from him. Clearly, the ruse was still going. She was impressed that Michael knew her intent even from all the away over there though.

Looking at the two figures, she noticed that Kokabiel in particular wasn't looking too good. He had lacerations all over his body and was bleeding profusely. Either Michael was slipping or Kokabiel was just that weak. Then again, Michael is the strongest angel to ever exist, while Kokabiel can't even break into the twelve-winged level. It was never a contest.

With a scowl Kokabiel looked at Michael with the most hateful gaze he could muster.

"I may not be able to kill you now Michael, but I have plenty of time and opportunities. I'll be back one day!" He said while a magic circle lit up below him."

"Is he really that much of a loser, to run away mid-battle?" Loki asked with a condescending gaze toward the fallen angel.

"He used to be the pinnacle of bravery, the star of god. I hope that he can one day repent and return to the right path" Michael said with a sad smile.

Just as the circle was about to take Kokabiel away though, a black light shone from it and it broke. When the light disappeared the sight that greeted everyone was horrifying. A broadsword was jutting out of a hulking palm right into Kokabiel's heart. It appeared to be made of black and red metal that extended from the blade to the pommel. It had an overly large guard shaped like black wings. In the center of the guard, was a blue orb in the center. The sword itself was radiating a strong aura that seemed to twist space. It seemed like this was the reason for the botched teleportation

Holding the sword was an abomination of a man. The hulking figure reached eleven feet tall and was a misshapen mass of deformed muscle. His skin was a menagerie of colors spanning different shades of gray to lime green. Decorating his form were the faces of the many humans. Disgustingly enough, the majority of them were children. He was radiating the most tainted light they had ever seen. It's color even mirrored this as it shone in a black and red sheen. They had no clue what that thing was.

"You're my meal ticket Kokabiel." Distorted words slurred out of his mouth.

*Cough* *Cough* Kokabiel's mouth started oozing blood. He could feel his essence being sucked out of him by the sword.

"Who…. Are…. You?" Kokabiel asked, wanting to know the identity of the man who ambushed him in his final moments. Everyone else still on the battlefield perked up at this question, especially the remaining rogue fallen host. This thing had just dealt a fatal wound to their master, the man they threw everything away for.

"Oh, you're not dead then? Well, why not? I am Valper Galilei, the current owner of the combined Caliburn and Excalibur. The sword that's killing you now is the resulting weapon. I call it Terminus Caliburn." He said with malicious glee.

Michael looked grim. How could the mightiest of holy weapons turn into this? He was sensing a lot of souls trapped in that abomination's body. The faces were proof enough. The only consolation was the feeling of the sword's power trapped by the majority of its holy seals. These were sentient swords with that ability after all. Even he would not be able to bypass those seals without damaging the functions of the sword, though Valper may not even realize they are there.

On another side of the battlefield, Kiba's eyes went a glowing red. He personally could see the friends he had at the institute during the holy sword project on Valper's body. Their faces twisted into silent screams. Dried tears of blood could be seen caked from the impressions of their eyes. They were suffering. Before he could move though, Koneko had him pinned down physically, while Tsubaki restrained him magically. Before he could ask why, Sona was next to him with her eyes still glued to the new threat.

"Why!?" He screamed. He should be going to set them free. Why is his master stopping him?

"Because you don't stand a chance as you are now. The aura that abomination is letting off is on par with an ultimate class devil and it looks like it's increasing every second that sword is stuck inside the cadre. If you die now, those friend's sacrifices will have been in vain." She said somberly. This was the most logical counter she could come up with in the heat of the moment. She had to calm him down or he'd die a very quick and useless death.

"Damn it!" his forehead pounded the concrete as his teeth ground in frustration. He was so useless. With that thought, his chest glowed for a quick second. Kiba didn't notice in his despair, but Sona did.

"You just might have your chance in the future Kiba. I can tell that you'll get much stronger. We'll get much stronger together." She said with a smile. She might be mistaken, but with his powerful emotional state at the moment, he may have just put his foot into the realm of balance breaker. If true, it would be a massive bonus to her peerage's power.

Back on Kokabiel's side.

"You…. wretched human…. dare take advantage of me!?" Kokabiel roared with last of his strength, wanting to retaliate before he drew his last breath. Before he could though, his eyes lost their light and his body withered into a husk right before everyone's eyes.

With that, the abomination's mouth grew into a cruel scowl.

"Finally! I will become the Star of God. My light will shine on the world!" Laughing in glee, he felt his body twisting as new changes started becoming visible. In front of everyone, he grew a second head from his shoulders, which looked unsurprisingly like Kokabiel. His height also grew another two feet, while his back started bubbling. A few moments later, six pairs of scarlet wings burst from his back. Looking at the more closely, they noticed the black and red aura emanating from them.

Everyone who witnessed this transformation was frozen in place. This thing just became Satan class. He had gained Kokabiel's power and broke into the twelve-winged level in one go. With Kokabiel's power, two of the strongest holy swords combined, and whatever else that thing had, he just became a god class being, even if his appearance was a distorted mess.

Then, the sword began to light up before his form started to slowly fade away from the bottom up.

"Once I finish my transformation. I will be back. Upon my return, heaven will be remade in my image, hell will be an ocean of blood, and the church will be a memory. I will enjoy taking my revenge; my research was perfect and I will prove it." His distorted voice finished as he finished his slow teleportation.

After he disappeared, the battlefield was once again silent.

"Well, I think I'll go too. It looks like my show was canceled. I'm going to make some preparations for Ragnarok, while you deal with that thing. I don't even need to cause trouble with this. Hahaha!" Loki's mocking laughter rang across the battlefield as he disappeared in a quick teleportation circle. All of his children and creations disappeared too, though one of them wouldn't ever be the same. All that was left was the remaining rogue fallen angels, who were already dropping to the ground in surrendering positions.

Michael and Azazel could be seen clenching their fists. They really wanted to cut this man down, but they needed the threat. He had defiled the very concept of an angel and they were letting him get away. At least Rias should be able to locate him when it's time to off him. It would be best to get the legalities of the treaty straight before they remove one of the established threats. By then, the tensions between the mythologies should start coming to a boil due to the change in the power balance. Then, they won't need that freak.

Serefall flew over to Sirzechs to consolidate any intel gained during the battle.

Rias sighed. This was a shit show. They wanted an enemy and they got one. A God class fighter with grudges against almost all factions within the biblical myth and the power of Caliburn. He mentioned Excalibur as well, so he probably had some or all of those as well. Luckily for her, she wasn't the one that would have to deal with the aftermath. Then, you have the threat of Loki and the hero faction. With that, it should be good enough for the treaty.

"Valerie" She called.

"Yes Rias." Valerie answered silently. She was still contemplating on how Valper copied her life transmutation ability, even if it was in the loosest sense possible.

"How much time do we have before he completes that transformation of his?" Rias asked.

"Probably a little over a year. He doesn't have the Graal, so he would need a pretty strong ritual and a lot of time to complete the integration. Even once that's done though, he'll still look like an abomination, he'll just be a lot more stable. That's one of the reasons why most supernatural beings don't mess with life transmutation. It's not worth it. While there are known ways to succeed, most don't want to turn into whatever Valper became. The Graal was god's shortcut to mankind; now that it's gone, he'll have to take the long way. I'm not even sure if it'll be Valper that we see next. It may be a brand-new entity created from the fusion. I don't think he considered that when he took in all those souls." She explained clinically. She really loved her powers, but they could be gruesome if handled improperly.

"Good. We still have time to help Hanabi before things start getting rough. While I work with everyone to handle this, could you get Ingvild and start working on collecting any samples you may have missed? Prioritize creatures like the Midgardsormr clone, Fenrir, his sons, and Loki. Fenrir specifically has fangs with the power to kill gods. That'll be a good thing to have in your back pocket." Rias requested.

"Right" Valerie nodded and got to work.
