Indefinite Hiatus Notice

So, I don't think I'm going to continue this fan fiction. It's not that I don't want to; I've just come into a problem with the story. Long story short, I've made Rias too strong to have any real fights. I didn't really realize how overpowered her abilities were until I was already neck-deep into the story. With the combination of prophecy and destruction, any surprise attacks or losses would come off as cheap and a bit forced.

With that, I will probably end up rewriting this fan fiction. At the very least, I'll revisit the DxD world in the one I'm currently writing. This one would start in the naruto world and move toward the DxD world out of necessity. It wouldn't be an arbitrary world hopper, just a connected world with travel to DxD by circumstances. Basically, it would be similar to how a lot of the Naruto movies, like the Lost Tower play out, but as a more persistant destination.

To be clear, I'll still make any characters I write over-powered compared to the average setting of that world. I'm just trying to take better care of the combination of powers, evolutionary possiblities, and counters. There still has to be a level of power progression, hardship, and suspense. In a situation where I revisit the DxD world I probably won't end up using Rias as an MC. Her powers only make sense if she's a mentally and physically weak person. The power of destruction is too boring. It's hard to be too creative with it without beating any enemy she encounters in short order. As an alternative, the Sitri family could work, or I could even use a different faction all together.

Long story short, this story will be on an indefinite hiatus and I will likely start posting my next novel after I review it to make sure fights can still be interesting.
