Hidden Deep Down

Even though I heard someone saying snap out of it it was not enough to break the memory that I was seeing.

'I asked him to let go of my hand to look for my friends, but he didn't care a bit.'

He held my hand tight. "Somethings definitely wrong right?" I said as tears started to fill my eyes up.

"Nothing wrong," he said bending down and looking at me.

I could only see his eyes, he was tall and his eyes were dark red like emeralds. They were shining as if it was about to consume me up. I kept looking straight into his eyes because I was hypnotized by the beauty of his eyes.

"Don't worry, Yuki. Everything is gonna be alright," he said patting my head.

"I will protect you. He kept holding my hand. We need to get out of here first," he said looking at the only exit. The same way we all came into the cave.

"But what about my friends. Where are they? I will not move a little without them," I said banging my leg on the floor.

"They are long gone Yuki," he said.

"No, they are not, I kept insisting as I could believe what he said."

"Even if you are not ready to accept the truth I can't do anything about it. I need you to leave with me right now."

'Be a good girl, he said.'

"But," I said still not wanting to leave this place without my friends.

"Okay, if you really don't want to accept the truth, I will show it to you then he said taking me towards the water."

I saw something but I want sure what it was.

"Step on the water," he said.

"Why should I do that," I asked.

"If you want to know what happened to your friends put your step on the water. Make the water shiver with the touch of your skin."

I had second thoughts of doing what he was saying, but my heart didn't allow me to do that I was desperate to know, about what happened to my friends.

I put my feet on the water, the water was surprisingly hot. But as I took my step out of the water he pulled me away.

"Now look at what's gonna happen. Don't blame me for showing this to you," he said.

As he said that something came out of the water. It was similar to the icicle-like spike I saw before. But there were too many this time not just that all of my friends were there on them, gotten stabbed by those things.

Blood dripping down those things. I fell on the floor being unable to control my heart. What I saw would have killed someone else with a heart attack, but my tender heartfelt so strong this time.

I didn't die but was shocked. He kept holding my hand.

"I told you seeing that won't do any good. Now that you so that let's just get out of here if you don't want to die. After all, so many people want you dead because you obtained the crystal rose at a young age like this."

"Now you will have more time to absorb energy and grow stronger. I hope that you will stay safe from now on, it's not like I cant come to keep you safe every day but it's against the rules."

'so, learn how to stay from now on.'

'Live for your loved ones.'

They will be with you until your end.

I did have family members but they barely cared about me. They loved me or not, I never knew because they kept me away from them by sending me to a middle school very far away from them.

"You told me to live for my loved ones right? but I don't have any loved ones, I said standing up.

"If you don't have someone, I will be the person you love." He said.

"Okay then, let's go," he said taking the lead.

We came out of the cave. The sunlight was very soothing. "Let's go then," I told him, 'but how are we supposed to explain to our teacher what happened.'

"I will be framed as a murderer and a psychopath when I tell her that, but I can't just tell her even if I am to get framed as a murderer, I have to make them find peace.

"You should first go to her," he said. I looked at the camps site for a moment which was empty now. I turned around to look at him but he was no longer there.

I walked towards the campsite and found my teacher packing stuff in a hurry.

"Yuki, oh my god! girl where were you?. Pack everything right now. We are leaving right now, no time to waste. Get your feet moving right now."

"But teacher the others,

"shut up, she said. Keep moving."

I did as she said. I grabbed everything I wanted to take back and a few items from my friends' tents.

"Let's go," my teacher grabbed my hand. She took me away by force. It seemed like she was in a hurry. We got into our minivan parked outside the camping site.

She drove fast like she was crazy like she was scared of something.

"Teacher, can we slow down?"

"Yuki, what now?. Just shut up. Your friends are now dead, she said."

"Wait! how do you know that" I asked?

"Because it was me who killed them,"

she let go of the steering wheel and jumped to the back seat. Her eyes were dark red and were looking at me like a blood-thirsty animal.

She bit my neck, right where the vein was. Blood wetted my dress again. I tried to push her away. But she was stuck on to me like a parasite and kept licking my blood.

The car got hit somewhere and rolled down a cliff, making me able to push her away from me. The shutters broke and the pieces of glasses came right towards me.

I screamed for help but no one was there.

Together with the injury, she caused me I had lost so much blood which made me feel dizzy every passing second.

My teacher, who turned into a monster was lying down unconsciously. The sight of her was enough to make me scared.

"Yuki, I told you to snap out of it."

"Snap out of it right now if you want to live."

"Akuji come out right now!". I heard someone screaming.

That's when I came back to my senses. But it was not me who had taken control of my body.

It was her.
