Day 2 - Nightmares Continue

'No, I wasn't. Shall we just get going then?'

We both got into the car. 'By the way, what were you dreaming? Trust me and tell me I am not going to laugh at you.'

'I don't have anything to tell you and the other thing is I am not trusting you in any way. We are going out at this time just because I want to prove to you that I used to be a gamer and girls can play games.'

'I was going to say to you that we can go tomorrow morning, but you threw a shoe at me.'

'Correction, it was a boot. Don't you dare insult shoes?'

We still had a long way to go but both of us were already sleepy. I put on some music to help both of us stay awake.

'Woah you really surprise me. Does every girl like this type of genre?'

'I am a fan of heavy metal and pop music. I didn't expect to see you as a soft listener.'

'Can you please stop the music it is killing me?'

'You can turn on some good music like this he said grabbing my phone. Okay now listen and tell me how good this is.'

A slow song started to play. 'Are you going to kill both of us at this hour by playing music like that? It will make us both fall asleep in no time.' 

'Are you kidding me it was so relaxing? You told me before not to insult shoes, now I am telling you not to insult music.'

'Okay now look at who is pissed off,' I said looking out of the window.

'Can we just both stay quiet.'

'Alright no more talking.' For another 30 minutes, both of us didn't talk a single word.

We finally arrived at my place, it seemed like no one was there since I left there. It looked like a haunted house even though it was just let alone for such a little time.

'Are you scared? I mean you were looking at the house like you saw a ghost.'

'We are ghosts so why worry,' he said trying to hold my hand. 'Take your hands away from me,' I said getting out of the car. 

The lawn was full of all sorts of creepers and dead leaves. These things are going to ruin my shoes.

'It's okay let's just go.' I need to punish myself for wearing these clothes at this time. It is so hard to move in this dress.

'Do you need any help,' he said while standing by the car.

'No, I don't want any help, I can manage by myself.'

'Okay then, but do you know where the key is? I don't wanna become a petty thief by trying to break a door at this hour.'

'I know where it is can we just go. Stop talking if you don't want to wake up the grandma next door. She is scarier than I am when she wakes up by hearing something at this hour. Can you switch on your flashlight as well? it's dark here.'

'Okay,' he said switching on his flashlight, 'but find the key soon I am out the battery'.

'Wait you too? I don't have that much battery left too. Come quickly, we need to find it soon. It's in the cactus plant. The main key must be with my dad or with someone else.'

'Don't ask me to touch that cactus of yours. Oh, don't worry it doesn't have any spines in it.'

'Let's quickly go there before both of us run out of battery.'

We both went near the house, but my cactus was not at the place it used to be. The soil was everywhere on the floor and I saw my cactus which was dead and dry.

'Yuki, back off. Someone is here.' He pulled me back.

I looked at him in a face full of questions. 'What are you talking about,'

'shut up and get back?' As he said that something went right near my ear and crashed the windscreen of the car, there goes another 1000's of dollars, I said.

'No time to care about that, call the police. I got my phone but the battery was already dead. Samael, the battery is dead.'

'We will both be dead, my phone is in the back pocket of my trouser, check whether it has any battery left in it.'

'Okay okay, wait I took his phone out but it was out of battery too.' Another bullet went right near us and crashed into the tree. 

'I am going to transfer into a demon,

wait no. you can't do that. Don't worry these guys won't even be alive to remember it.'

'Shut up you idiot, we cant kill those people. We both will end up in jail for it. So shut your stupid mouth. Take them out and just erase their memories. Killing is not necessary.'

'Okay, then I will do as you say.'

He transformed into his demonic form, his clothes his eyes, his hair and everything about him changed. This is weird. Why is it not the same case with me.

He disappeared suddenly from my sight. I looked at the sky because my eyes sensed something, He was up in the sky. I could see his red shining eyes looking at me.

He disappeared all of the sudden and the only thing I could see next was some loud bangings from the inside of my house.

'Wait is he killing them. It feels like it.' 

I went to the back of my house and found the back door open. I got into the house through the door. I could still hear bullets crashing on the walls. I finally got into the living room and there were 5 men and 2 women lying on the floor while one man was still standing pointing his gun at him.

'Stop it,' I screamed.

'I will stop if you all get out of this house.'

'Who are you to ask me to get out of the house? this house belongs to me.'

'This is not yours.'

I could see Samael looking at him with eyes full of cruelty. With his wings, he looked even scarier.

'Now die,' he released a bullet at me, it went through my shoulder making me fall on the floor. 

It didn't feel like I was going to lose my consciousness any soon so I stood up, with blood flowing down from my hand. It hurt as if I was getting burned alive.

I saw Samael holding him by his neck, if I don't stop him now he is going to kill him. He still had his gun in his hands. He must have realized that a demon cannot be stopped by a single bullet.

'Stop it,' I said tapping on Samael's hand.

He let go of him. I saw his wings disappearing. The man fell to the floor but he shot me on my stomach. This time I lost my consciousness for real. 

I woke up on a hospital bed and saw him sleeping holding my hand.

'Why didnt I die at least this time.'

'Oh, you are awake,' he said smiling like a child.

'Yeah yeah,' I am awake.

'Do you want to go out.'

'Are you trying to kill me by taking me out, when I just woke up. Where is your common sense?'

Some people came in through the door, 

"Miss Yuki and Mr. Samel you are under arrest as suspects for 3 murders at House scheme 35."
