CHAPTER 2: VIRTUOUS WIFE SYSTEM

System binding 1%...10%...35%...50%.....100%

[Virtuous wife system is successfully bind.]

The words sounded in her head, and she was taken aback; she had heard of all kinds of system names, but wasn't this one a little too cliché?

"What game are you playing right now, System?" Irene couldn't help but scream fiercely at the unseen creature who held all hope for a second chance for her.

[As I already stated, the host must be willing to pay a price.] The system you receive will be tailored to your desires as well as those of the body you will be inhabiting from now on.]

Irene listened attentively, and it was only then that she realized she had offended the entity. She had wished to fall in love, marry a wonderful man, and raise a family. What more could a woman desire than to be a virtuous wife who will be loved not only by her husband but also by her children?

"I apologize for my skepticism. What am I supposed to do now?" with a peaceful heart, Irene inquired.

[The program contains an interface that displays the host's attributes as well as a store where the host can purchase any goods or services you deem necessary. You'll also be given daily tasks to do, which will reward you points that you can spend in the store. The host can read the manual guide for more details. The host need to just think of the interface, and it will display in front of you.]

Irene needed some time to process what she had just heard, but she was well aware that time was not on her side at the moment, so she opted to peek at the interface to see what was in store for her.

In her head, Irene summoned out the interface, and a screen was blinking directly in front of her eyes. She pressed the button, and it appeared.

NB: The host's status will change once the individual memories of the other world have been assimilated.

Irene didn't give a damn about any of it, but seeing how unlucky she was changed her view on the world.

Irene went through the manual guide as well, reading everything to the point since she didn't want to be caught by surprise, especially when she was given the opportunity to get to know her new identity. She embraced the idea that she would have to merge with the other character from the second, and that she would have to choose some daily assignments, of which she needed do at least three.

The more tasks she completes, the more likely she is to receive points. Irene would also be able to use the store function, giving her access to all of the alien entity's fantastic services.

Irene was entitled to a beginner package as a newcomer to the transmigrating profession, which consisted of three items, which she will acquire once she arrives in the new world.

Irene took her time reading everything and then closed the interface when she was through. Irene left the princess bedroom and proceeded to the kitchen, where she served herself a dish of strawberry ice cream to help her digest everything.

Irene noticed that she never became fat no matter what she ate after entering this mysterious space, so she gorged herself on all the delicacies she couldn't consume before due to her obesity.

Irene took a seat on the plush couch with a floral cushion on her lap. The ice cream bowl landed on the cushion, enticing her to devour it. Irene was able to think clearly now thanks to the cool and refreshing ice cream.

Irene returned to her bedroom and lay down on the bed after putting the bowl in the sink when she was done, which automatically cleaned everything. She had made a decision, and she felt ready to depart and start a new life.

She only hoped it wouldn't be too bad, and that the person she'd be transmigrating into would be young and beautiful. She didn't want to suffer immediately when she arrives; all she wanted was to live in peace, and she hoped that her simple wish would be granted.

Irene took a look around the room she had become accustomed to every day, realizing how much she would miss it and everything in it. Despite the fact that she was alone in this room, she had grown to love it. It was difficult to say goodbye, but there were some things that needed to be done.

"System, I'm all set. Get me out of here," Irene stated sternly as she shut her eyes. She didn't want to see the magical moment when she would vanish from the place she had called home.

[As you desire.]

Irene got exactly what she had asked for and she felt as if she were on a roller coaster. Her head was throbbing, as if somebody was tearing her head apart, and the feeling was not particularly pleasant.

She didn't know how long this torture lasted, but she knew it ended the moment the excruciating throbbing stopped. A surge of information was poured into her consciousness at that very moment, and what she was able to filter through rendered her speechless.

She believed she was insane, but she had never expected to meet someone much more insane in person. People will do all kinds of horrible things if they set their minds to it, but how wonderful will it only if they gain something from it.
