Chapter 49

"Hello, father", the little bunny raised her hand, smiling and waving her hands at the Demon King. "D-daughter", the Demon King answered back, stuttering. The little bunny smiles suddenly turned into a frown. She jumped high before smacking the head of the black silhouette. "You bastard! Where have you been all this time?" the little bunny madly scolding the Demon King then repeatedly hit the Demon King with her little paws.

"Ouch, ouch, ouch. Stopped it, Willa, I'm sorry, I'm sorry", The Demon King pleaded. He could've retaliated, but he chose to let the little bunny hit him. "You idiot… you, idiot", the little bunny kept hitting the Demon King before slowly stopping, breaking down crying. The Demon King tried to comfort the little bunny by stroking her head, but he hesitated. "Why didn't you tell me, Dad?" Willa looked at the Demon King with tears in her eyes, "And your condition…. What happened to your…" before she managed to continue, the Demon King finally braved himself to stroke the little bunny head and hugged her, "I'm sorry, daughter, I'm sorry", he said to her.

Watching her old man apologized, Willa felt sadness inside of her, but at the same time, she was annoyed at the Demon King. The little bunny stared the Demon King right in the eyes, saying, "Why did you make me guard Yggdrasil? If you had taken me with you that time, maybe…." The Demon King looked guilty at his eldest daughter. She was the most powerful amongst his children, but he did not bring her along to his final battle. The Demon King dearly loved his children, especially this little bunny on his hand. "If I had brought you along, would you fight to the death?" the Demon King asked, knowing full well how his daughter would answer, "I don't want you to die…." He said somberly.

The little bunny looks down, "But…. You went alone…." She said with a sad tone in her voice. The Demon King nodded, "Yes. It's better that way. Thanks to that, many of my children survive, including you", he smiled warmly towards the little bunny. Willa raised her head, looking at her father, "Dad…." Then suddenly, she hit the Demon King stomach with her cute hands.

The Demon King buckled down, "Why did you do that for?" he asked, forgetting that his eldest daughter was the most violent amongst his children. "That's what you get. For leaving me alone and forcing me to search for you for a long time", Willa sulked.

However, after Willa, the little bunny's words come out, the huge gate used to transport the giant stone golem appears beside the throne room. The gate opened, revealing the golem's hand before it walked through the gate with powerful steps.

"Threat detected! Eliminating target!" the giant stone golem transformed into its empowered form before heading straight at Willa. The now transformed giant stone golem sends its punch towards the little bunny with so much force that the room was trembling. "You dare!" the Demon King barked; he was truly angry this time. Although previously, he was afraid of meeting the little bunny because of guilt, the Demon King still dearly loved his children. Now, seeing his creation attacked one of his beloved children, how can the Demon King stayed calm.

The little bunny hopped out from the Demon King's hands, "Don't worry, father, I got this!" After speaking, the little bunny figure blurred; she was surrounded by fog so thick that nobody could see what was inside. All this took just a split second to occur, and when the giant stone golem's punch was about to hit the fog, a slender hand stopped its punch. "You really don't know how to pick your opponent, did you?" a sound could be heard from inside the fog.

When the fog dissipates, a gorgeous woman with long silver hair, pointy ears, and a bombshell of a figure appeared. She wears a sleeveless white ancient battle garment that stretched out to her legs; strapped with a golden belt is a sheeted gladius with a round shield tied to her back. The golden bracelet on each side of her wrist alongside a pair of golden war shoes made her looks like an ancient battle goddess.

With a flick of her hand, the transformed giant stone golem got flung way back, crashing to the wall. "I don't even need my sword for the likes of you", Willa said before appearing suddenly near the giant stone golem. "Die!" Willa punched the giant stone golem right at its crotch, destroying it to pieces. After punching the giant stone golem's crotch, Willa turned around to her father, smiling. The Demon King flinched, 'Good thing I don't have my body right now' he breathes a sigh of relief. "So, where were we, Dad?"

Willa conjured a complete set of tables and chairs alongside its necessity. She sat down, crossing her legs and sipping her tea while waiting for the Demon King to explain his situation. The Demon King nervously sat opposite Willa, shakingly holding the teacup. Still hanging from the ceiling, I observed the drama that's about to unfold. Thinking about the shady old man get berated by his daughter caused a smile to form on my lips.

But, seriously, though, who knew that the cute little bunny I've met earlier was the Demon King's daughter and can turn into a gorgeous, beautiful woman. The Demon King hesitatingly open his lips before closing them again. This goes on for a while, but Willa just waited patiently and sipped her tea every time the Demon King hesitated. When he's finally about to speak, however, Willa looked up towards me, smiling before suddenly my vision went dark.

When I came to, I was in some sort of a glass chamber. I was submerged in some sort of green liquid, and my feet were floating. I look in front of me; there were three similar chambers as mine. All of them housed several different members of our party. The far left one has Diane inside of it, the far right one has Duncan inside of it, and the middle one has Davida inside of it. Unlike me, those three was still unconscious. I also found that Duncan's previously blond hair has now turned back to grey. Then, I heard steps approaching us. The silver-haired woman opened the door, walking near Davida's and the others chamber, picking them up with a wave of her hands before walking away. The door closed, leaving me all alone in this dark room.

After a while, I woke up again. Although I'm still inside the glass chamber, I can see that my chamber was moved from that dark room to this new light room, similar to the place where we waited earlier. "Yo, you awake?" the Demon King walked closer to my chamber. "Hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm?" I tried speaking, but the device covering my mouth prevented it. "Don't try to talk right now. The effect from the Dragon Force technique is still within you. Let the chamber heal that", the Demon King leans on my chamber.

"Hmm, HMM?" I stared at the Demon King right in his eyes. He smirked, "You know, I can pretty much do anything to you right now", he said teasingly. "HMM, HMM, HMM" I looked at the Demon King with disdain. The Demon King chuckled, "Don't get too worked up. So, what do you want to ask?"

"Hmm, hmm, hmm?"

The Demon King frowned, "You're wondering about your friends?" he asked. I nodded my head. "How should I tell you this…. Your friends had left you…."

Let's backtrack a little bit. When Eru saw the silver-haired woman grabbed Davida and the others healing chamber, the Demon King sat on his throne, waiting. He clicked his finger, then the previously Demon King throne room changed. The room turned all white, then all of the props inside the throne room disappear, making the room all flat. Then, a door appeared out of nowhere, with Willa stepping out of the door, bringing three glass chambers filled with green liquid.

"Thanks, Willa", the Demon King said. Willa nodded before transforming herself into the cute little bunny again. "No problem", the little bunny nodded with her tiny head. "So, you're going with them?" the Demon King looked at the little bunny with deep eyes. The little bunny nodded, "Yes. I seemed to have fate with these guys, especially the elf girl". The Demon King nodded, "Right, place the chambers near the centre of the room, and I'll wake them up."

The little bunny waved her hand, and the chambers were moved down to the centre of the white room. "Then, I'll disappear for a while", the little bunny said, turning her body around before fading out to the background. The Demon King sighed; he pinched his forehead before breathing a sigh of relief, 'That daughter of mine….' The Demon King then turned his attention on Davida, Diane and Duncan's heating chamber. The Demon King sat down on the floor, his legs crossed and his hand rested on his chin, "I'll wait for you to wake up", the Demon King mumbled.
