Just like both Leila and Monica had suggested Remi to do, she called Hugo the next day to tell him that indeed there were a couple of people that seemed to be paparazzi outside her building.
“I see…” he said when she had explained it “Have you gone out?”
“No, I haven’t. But I will have to do it soon, I’ve already missed a couple of classes” she said, sitting on her bed. There was a small silence after that.
“I’ll send a couple of my men for protection” Hugo finally said, looking out the window of the office at his home. It was late in the day already after all, the moon was up, full and white, big and bright, outshining any stars that weren’t already covered by the city lights. But no matter how late it was, Hugo still had work to do and things to plan, even if it was at his house.
“Won’t that attract more attention, though?” Remi asked, feeling awkward from the thought of having protection.
