Me and Alex were strolling down the city, looking for any signs of Phoebe and Murphy.
"You haven't checked that alley," Alex reminded, pointing to a dark alley with a few trash cans.
"You're right, maybe Micheal could've trapped them," I suggested.
We walked to the alley, and when we got closer, there were more trash cans. I also saw a few street rats, and clothes lined up on the rope.
"Sheesh, who would survive here!" I commented.
We walked further up the alley, but there were no signs of Phoebe and Murphy, as I saw more rats and trash.
"I think we should leave, they're not here," I urged.
"Yeah, let's go to Micheal's house, they could've been there all along," Alex advised.
We walked out of the alley, and we were looking around for a taxi.
"Also, be careful of Micheal, he's very dangerous," Alex warned.
"Ok…" I nervously answered.
Fortunately, a taxi pulled over, as I was telling the driver Micheal's address. I quickly opened the door, and made my way inside.
Soon enough, the car started to move, as I was overthinking about how to get in Micheal's house, and Phoebe and Murphy's safety.
"We should sneak to the basement door, and make our way up," I whispered to Alex.
"Excuse me, mister, can you drop us off a few houses from the address?" Alex requested.
The driver nodded.
Around 20 minutes later, we arrived near Micheals house. I thanked the driver, as I opened the car door, and stepped out of the car.
"Quietly go to the back of that house, and walk a few backyards to Micheals backyard. I'll go to the front," Alex quietly instructed.
I walked to the back of one house, and kept my head low, as I was quietly walking to Micheals backyard.
Hey Alex, are you safe? I texted him, worried.
Yes, I will meet you at the basement latch, he answered.
