Is this... a system?

So far, it seemed like no one has been able to see the holographic imaging or even hear the voice of a young British man. During lunch, I tried to see what the other arrows do, but none of them seemed to work accept stats. It seems kind of boring if you ask me. Everytime I clicked on stats, nothing would change. Then, in the corner of my eye, I noticed in small letters underneath stats was the words "20/100 exp" and "Lvl. 1".

It seemed to be working like a game system, where you put in a specific amount of points in a stat area and you did quests to gain experience and level up. There have never been accounts of these kind of a chasm watch working like a system though.

But there are rare cases that bring out the chasm abilities oddly, which is why we have different classes of chasm. The first class is called the emitter, which are abilities that emit some sort of energy, like light or magnetism. The second class is mutant, which was rare for someone to get. The 'mutant' class is where the individuals powers actually became a part of their body, like a human looking and having the abilities of a lizard.

Finally, there is an incredibly rare class that only 3% of the entire population of humanity has achieved. This class is simply known as heaven or hell, where the chasm of one is so overpowered, it takes another physical form, mainly as a weapon of some sort. But this case was only recorded about half a century ago, and I only hear rumors about it most of the time.

But never has there been mentioned a system type of class. I didn't know what to think of this, so I simply put the screen away and went back to eating. I sat alone— again— mainly because my roommates were all in different lunch periods than me, so we never really got to see each other much accept at the dorm.

I strolled down the hall with my hood on, which of course, no one would care if I had it on. Maybe it was because they didn't want to see my ugly face.

Right as I was about to turn the corner, I felt a cold hand on my shoulder. I turned my head slightly to see the hideous face of Bill. "So you've got the money right?" He asked in a raspy tone. He glared at me with a smile that looked like it could open up at any moment and devour me in a single bite. But this time, I didn't feel like I needed to brace myself anymore.

"You know what Bill? I'm done giving you my crap. It's time for your own medcine," I said aloud.

"Excuse me!?! What did you say to me-"

I smacked him across the face, taking him by surprise. He stumbled backwards.

"Listen here you littl—" He started to say, but then he stopped dead in his tracks. He didn't move at all, nor was he speaking. In fact everyone stopped moving.

"Move 'Time Stop' has been activated," the voice said. I now realized where the voice was coming from. It was the watch that was speaking. The air around me was still.

"Three seconds remaining," the watch said aloud. I didn't hesitate for a moment. I swung my fist right into his right cheek. He didn't move a muscle. I kept pounding and pounding in various places until the watch said, "Effect of move 'Time Stop' has been deactivated."

Bill flew through the air, a little bit of blood coming out of his mouth. He smashed into the lockers, groaning in agony. Everyone watched in awe as they saw me standing there. Their mouths were open in shock, so open they looked like fish gasping for air. I hope I've got an explanation for Bill and the destroyed lockers...
