“What are you singing, guys? It’s fucking depressing.” Mike slowly articulated as he appeared in the kitchen holding the wall.

“Those are great lyrics! What do you want from it?” Nick asked him. “What are you doing here, man?”

“I’m starving.”

Nick grabbed him from under his arm and led him to the kitchen table.

“You are on very strong painkillers; you should lay down, man.”

“Don’t talk shit like me. I don’t buy it. I am fine, despite all the nausea and dizziness.”

“Sure, man.”

Mike wanted to sit without any assistance but he finished hitting some kitchen cupboards, making a lot of noise.

“Could you put your stubbornness aside, please?” Jo approached Mike and helped him to sit safely. “When your friends need your help, you are always for them, so please let us take care of you.” She said in a gentle tone.

“And who says that?” Mike asked mockingly. “The mad warrior who didn’t want to show her fractured bones to the doctor…” He laughed.
