"Ouchh!" I winced in pain, struggling to get back on my feet. He stared at me in a ridiculous way before grabbing me by the neck. 
"Your scent, you're the one,"he claimed while pushing away my head angrily. My body shrank in fear and my legs trembling from anxiety. "Why do you always say that. I don't know you. Leave me alone!" 
 Looking at him, his face seemed pale,young and a bit old at the same time. He moved closer to me with the speed of bolt, which no normal human possesses. "That's what you think." He touched my face admiring it while I turned my face away in disgust. His dilated eyes rolled,turning red while his teeth clenched out and gradually moved his mouth towards my neck.

 "Wait... that..boy, I've seen him somewhere ", I thought, flipping through the pages. Suddenly, a realization struck me. I saw a striking resemblance of this picture in Max's album which I located under his sofa. The snow globe he gave me deemed similar to the one in this newspaper. 


 "Mom...who's this..., you're always talking about him", my little self asked mom, when she was in the kitchen. She paused whatever she was doing and sat me on one of the tables. She held my cheeks, squashing them in a funny way which she always does. "Listen.. He is very crucial to fight against that vampire like I told you yesterday... you remember right"? She asked. I nodded innocently, smiling.
