"Ouchh!" I winced in pain, struggling to get back on my feet. He stared at me in a ridiculous way before grabbing me by the neck. 
"Your scent, you're the one,"he claimed while pushing away my head angrily. My body shrank in fear and my legs trembling from anxiety. "Why do you always say that. I don't know you. Leave me alone!" 
 Looking at him, his face seemed pale,young and a bit old at the same time. He moved closer to me with the speed of bolt, which no normal human possesses. "That's what you think." He touched my face admiring it while I turned my face away in disgust. His dilated eyes rolled,turning red while his teeth clenched out and gradually moved his mouth towards my neck.

 I packed up everything into the box and got up. "Don't worry, I'll finish the project by tomorrow", Adrian promised holding my hand. I smiled back, hugging him. "Thanks. I'll go with you since you're staying at my place..."! He refused and still insisted on going back to the cottage but I persisted. I dragged him out, "I'm still hurt"! He said. I laughed at his answer. 


 I assisted him to get up and we walked to the station. When we got home, I locked the door immediately after checking if anyone was lurking around my house. Every tv station seemed to be broadcasting the same news about staying indoors due to an upcoming earthquake and storm in a few minutes. I closed my eyes falling on the sofa. Tricia called my name out crying. I jumped up, sighing.
