I slid the door open to the room where Adria was doing her duties, casually walking in as the lady looked at me with a raised brow, and then it hit her. She backed off ever so slightly, shifting her gaze away from my eyes. 


“Listen… Robert, we talked about this the day before…” 


“Oh, about how I planned to destroy the operations and the Epico once and for all, right? Man, let that go for now. I just came here to see my beloved Adria. You wouldn’t mind that would you?” 


“Y-You monster, you do know that I’m a part of the group too… right?” 


Adria replied, her legs shaking as she took a few steps back, to a corner of the room where she had no escape. She hurriedly looked back when she bumped into the wall, her eyes slowly widening with her breathing getting slightly unsteady. I couldn’t help but smile seeing her like that. I shrugged my shoulders and shook my head, still having the same smile I had just moments ago.
