The door leading out into the hall was the same wooden one since the last time Sauda was in the castle. It never had locks on it, it was just heavy. And if it was heavy enough for Sauda to have to put a little extra effort in, then human’s needed an army to open it. A great defense system, if you wanted to catch escaping prisoners.

Sauda can hear the voices coming from the other side, and even though she heard the voices of her friends, she still went to put a hand on her gun and hit empty air.

“I’ll get your weapons back to you,” Asiya says from behind.

Sauda straightens up and knocks on the door, and it swings easily open. Raum stands on the other side, smiling at her. A full-blooded Demon can open the door a lot easier than she can. Sauda steps out with Asiya tight on heels.

Laid up next to the door was a guard, stewing in a pool of blood, a matching throat wound to Deek’s.
