Prince Ron let out a small, choked laugh through a sniffle. He nodded furiously, wiping his cheeks with trembling fingers. “Yes, Your Majesty. Yes I'll marry you.”
The banks of the lake immediately erupted in joyous cheers.
The Elves clapped, whistled, and called out their congratulations, their graceful composure melting into open celebration. Some tossed flower petals into the air, some waved glowing lanterns high above their heads and others made fireworks explode in the sky!
Zedekiel’s lips curved into a rare, warm smile. It was soft and almost boyish. He stood up and walked towards Ron, slipping the ring onto Ron’s slender finger before hugging him and kissing him like there was no tomorrow.
They could feel each others happiness through their bond and it made them even more elated. Giddy, like two teenagers discovering love for the first time. Though they were already married and had kids on the way, doing it like this made it seem more real.
