'I don't like what they're talking about...'
Mitsuna thought as she heard the conversation.
'Me? A worker for those c*nts?'
Mitsuna floated down to the ground.
'I doubt words would work. Guess I'll just make some comments as we fight. Should be a good workout~'
The gas mask man spoke.
"State your full name and occupation."
As Mitsuna finished her light stretch, she cracked her neck while speaking.
"Ugh ...I know your type."
"Specify."
"You won't stop your planned attack even if I tell you who I am."
"Your answer may change the outcome."
The blue-haired elf commented.
Mitsuna let out a sigh.
Pointing at the group, she called them out one by one.
Starting with the paladin.
"Uselessly righteous. Oath Driven Paladin of The Red Star."
The goth girl.
"Extremely prideful. Accursed Tome Mage."
The priest.
"Silent but wrathful. Sheepkin Saint."
The gas mask.
"Logical yet tyrannical with a bit of pride. Lord of Venom and Poison."
The blue-haired elf.
"Clutz yet extremely active. Arctic Element Archer."
The pale cop.
"Thinks the priest looks cool so he copies her. Faint Footstep Assassin."
The entire group frowned. The cop in particular.
"I know all your types, not to mention your classes. You are all exhausting to deal with, I'm sure. Thinking your high up on the food chain, your all pretty prideful, although the goth loli is on a different level."
Mitsuna grinned.
"Her plan is to make us lose our cool. Let us engage, that will make her learn her lesson."
The goth girl said while slightly gritting her teeth.
'That's a red flag.'
Mitsuna thought as she teased them a little more.
"Not responding to my comments? Does that mean I was right? Pft!"
The gas mask spoke after Mitsuna's final comment.
"Engage. Do not eliminate."
Gas mask pushed the cape of his coat back, what could be seen was two huge vials of liquid stuck to his back like a backpack.
Flicking some switches, he produced a potion in a second and threw it. The others made their moves at that moment.
The goth flipped through the pages of the floating book, stopping at one, she started constructing a spell.
The elf drew her bow and activated a skill, hundreds of water arrows materialized above Mitsuna.
The sheepkin cast buffs onto everyone around.
The paladin charged in full throttle from the front.
The cop appeared behind Mitsuna and swung his knife with a 'Humph!'.
The water arrows were created in such a way that they had no possibility of hitting the melee members.
Mitsuna, however, did not care.
'Pft. Tier 4.'
Grasping and breaking the hand of the cop, she threw him at the paladin who was forced to catch his teammate.
Disrupting the magic circle of the goth with [Reverse], Mitsuna simultaneously created vines that thrust out of the ground and absorbed the water arrows.
"The cop makes too much noise for an assassin type, the paladin needs to actually tank and not catch thrown teammates, the elf needs to launch sneak attacks from a distance not aoe magic since she isn't a mage, the goth needs to work on her cast time, the priest needs to use appropriate buffs since an assassin and defence are just a stupid combo and Mr Gas Mask needs something more to do than just throw bottles of poison."
She pointed towards the sky as all the thrown bottles of poison were stopped in time.
Mitsune stopped her critique as she watched how the group got pushed back rather easily and was worried about breaking their spirit.
The sheepkin priest started healing the cop as bone was showing.
"Do you feel overwhelmed?"
Mitsuna suddenly asked. The group was on high alert, their pride hurt as their enemy started pointing out their flaws.
"Do you feel overpowered? Outsmarted? Well, you shouldn't. We haven't even started yet... get your act together."
Creating extremely thin spears of ice at her side, she aimed them.
The goth who was looking on thought in bewilderment.
'N-None of them are aimed at us?'
"...Why are you just standing there?"
Suddenly, all the thrown potions were teleported around the group, they appeared as the perfect targets.
"Afraid?"
Mitsuna asked as her eyes were cold, a blank look on her face as if she found this boring.
Launching the spears without changing their course or readjusting her aim, almost all the spears hit their mark.
The group was surrounded by poison in a mere moment.
'They can't give me a good workout if they only have this much skill.'
Just as this happened, the gad mask man pushed his hands into the ground and a blast of wind pushed all the poison away. Liquid or gas, it was nowhere near the group.
"Huh. So your tactic is to destroy poison bottles at a distance and control the poison gas from far away while the target is unable to move due to the liquid. Correct?"
"..."
"Guess I'm right. I'm quite good at this guesswork huh?"
The goth girl had her eyes wide open.
'Was that Space magic..? And the bottles... stopped in time?'
Looking at the reactions of the group, Mitsuna slightly grinned when her eyes landed on the goth girl.
"How about discussing a little? The goth loli seems to have realized something."
Sitting down, she waited without another move.
A moment of silence.
"... What did you see?"
The gas mask man asked.
"She is a scary one, I believe she has both Time and Space magic."
"So she is a pure mage?"
The elf asked.
"I've never heard of a physical fighter using Space or Time magic."
"Esper abilities could only work on specific elements or phenomena so it can't be that."
The goth girl continued as the elf agreed.
"Esper abilities are outlawed and almost extinct anyway. It is almost impossible to be that."
"We could use an Anti-Mage right now."
"Those are rare enough."
The gas mask man cut in before he continued after slightly lowering his guard and turning to the group.
"She seems to be allowing us to take our time. We need to configure a strategy to bring her down before she gets bored of us and suddenly attac-."
"You! Fiend!"
The paladin who had been quiet till now yelled.
"Fight me!"
"What are-"
"Sure."
Before the elf could finish her question, Mitsuna already agreed.
"Leave it. He is buying us time. Quatz, heal him when he is finished."
The gas mask man stated as he turned to the priest. Receiving a nod, they started to strategize as the cop looked on at the start of the fight.
'How could she break the hand of an Elite Vampire with no difficulty? I really doubt she is a Pure mage class.'
...
'This is sudden.'
Standing in front of the hulking mass of paladin muscle and metal, Mitsuna was pleasantly smiling.
'I do need to test my physical capabilities.'
"Barehanded?"
She asked the paladin who had placed his shield on the ground.
"Indeed. If you wish we may use swords and shields."
"Sure, let's go with that, I don't want to break a nail."
"Quatz, may you manifest my weapon."
The paladin turned to the priest and then, a massive greatsword of red and bright yellow light fell from the sky.
"Ooh~"
Picking up the sword and his shield, the paladin spoke.
"I am ready."
'That looked awesome! I can't let the audience (the cop and priest) down with something that looks mediocre now!'
Finding an element that would look nice, Mitsuna had an idea.
Quickly creating a blueprint, she created a massive magic circle array.
Soon a huge chunk of Diamond arose from the earth.
The chunk opened, revealing a hollow inside.
Placing her hand in, she grabbed the handle and yanked it out.
Pieces of diamond fell to the earth as Mitsuna gripped the handle.
Soon the Diamonds started to grow out from the smooth hilt, creating a one-edged straight longsword.
If traced back, this type of sword would be called the Ninjato sword.
The collar of the blade had a picture engraved by Mitsuna's [Fox Flame] element. A picture of a three-tailed fox with stars on its tails.
She created a matching Diamond glove with the same symbol as a makeshift shield.
As Mitsuna practice swung her sword, the flame from the collar spread and enveloped the edge of the blade.
Holding the sword's crystal blade with her gloved left hand, Mitsuna got ready.
"I hope you know some techniques, boy."
