"Ugh! My body hurts. I want to go home." Mona said as she opened her eyes slowly, as she sat up.

Looking around, she saw the dead wasteland in an even worse state than it already was. The ground was scorched black in many areas, while in the other areas it was broken down. So much so, that deep holes filled the ground.

"What the hell went on in here?" She said after seeing the state in which the land was in.

It was as if a thunderstorm had raged on in the place for quite some time.

She felt her legs were quite sore, that was when she realised that she was attacked and lost her legs in the process, that was when she lost consciousness from the pain.

With a depressed expression, she looked down at her legs only to find that her leg was still there. In an instant, her expression changed one-hundred and eighty degrees, as a beautiful smile blossomed on her face.

"It is really there! But how?" She said excitedly with a hint of curiosity.
