Chapter 6: Inside the Spiritual Ring

Zhang Ruotian was heading for his bed while thousands of sweat beads fell from his face. He sat in a lotus position and began to reflect on what had happened to him in the previous days and hours.

Just a few days ago he was at home doing an animes and novels marathon, but who would expect that he would die on the same day and have a chance to reincarnate in another world.

Thus, reincarnating in a world where the strong eats the weak, as the Tenth Prince of the Yunwu Commandery, Zhang Ruotian. And also, the awakening of his Sacred Mark.

He closed his tremulous eyes for a moment before opening them again. And he said: "I have not yet taken a look at my Spiritual Ring or even the sword which I have wished for."

With that thought in mind, he directed his Genuine Qi to the Spiritual Ring on the middle finger of his right hand.

The Spiritual Ring was black and with a blue diamond-like jewel, the jewel in the ring began to give a feeble light that later spread throughout his room.

Zhang Ruotian only felt a slight dizziness before his body completely disappeared from his room and the Yunwu Commandery.

...

In a space totally unknown to many in the Kunlun Field, there were several lowlands erected lordly, accompanied by mountains as high as a skyscraper. Bright blue sky with white clouds as if it were a freshly made painting.

If some old monsters from Kunlun Field saw this place, they would certainly be flabbergasted because the genuine Qi in this place was extremely sheer and thick!

For you to get a sense of the thickness and purity of the place, you would simply have to look around as the Genuine Qi could be seen with the naked eye wandering through this unknown world!

Probably a expert in the Heaven Realm who had a bottleneck in his cultivation, could easily break through by just inhaling the Genuine Qi of this place.

This could only be achieved when the Genuine Qi of a given place reached a certain degree of purity and abnormal thickness when compared to the largest cultivation sites in Kunlun Field.

On the lawn, there was a certain handsome young man lying down, he had black hair, black royal clothes with some golden fabrics that did justice to the quality of his clothes.

Suddenly the body of a handsome young man who was unconscious, shivered a little. The handsome young man's eyes slowly opened as he scanned his surroundings.

Zhang Ruotian was astonished, he never expected that the space inside the Spiritual Ring would be so stunning, it was breathtaking!

However, what surprised him most was the absurd density and purity of Genuine Qi within him. He could even feel as if the door to the other layer of the Tempered Body was opening and his meridians trembling.

Zhang Ruotian inhaled a large amount of Genuine Qi, his body was immediately filled with eergy and vitality like a dragon.

"I never expected that the Spiritual Ring would hide such a secret. With the quality of Genuine Qi here my two cultivation would advance by leaps and bounds!" said Zhang Ruotian as a very big smile emerged on his face.

After all, he was speaking true, with the quality and quantity of Genuine Qi in the Spiritual Ring even a garbage could become a cultivation genius.

Zhang Ruotian got up and started to explore the world within the Spiritual Ring.

After an hour of exploration, he finally found something even more interesting in the Spiritual Ring. It was a majestic golden and black building, with various drawings of mythical animals such as kirin, phoenix, dragons, white tiger, etc.

The building had only five floors, but each had some strange symbols which he couldn't understand as much as he tried to understand.

The building in front of him was a small pagoda compared to chinese pagodas in novels, which probably spanned more than ten floors.

Zhang Ruotian didn't immediately run towards the pagoda, he first checked his surroundings, only after not finding anything suspicious did he proceed to the pagoda.

Umpteen may think that he was too cautious as that pagoda was given by R.O.B, but it didn't kill anyone not to check. After all, he was still in an unknown place that he never entered, who knows that there may be some powerful beast guarding the pagoda without him knowing it.

As the saying says "The hurried eats raw". As being hurried would blur your vision and you wouldn't even notice some small but important details.

He advanced slowly and finally arrived at the main entrance to the golden pagoda. Without delay, he put his hand on the door and injected a large amount of Genuine Qi. A strong light immediately came out of the door, blinding his vision completely as the door started to shake slightly.

When the light got weak, Zhang Ruotian came across a large golden room with various types of spiritual treasures. His heart boiled, for he knew that these were the resources of Immortal Cultivation that he wished before reincarnating in this world.

There was a pile full of Low-Level some Medium-Level Spiritual Stones. There were also various types of Spiritual Weapons sustained in the air as if it were magic.

Spiritual Stones were stones that have absorbed a large amount of Genuine Qi and have been transformed into pure Genuine Qi stones without any impurity within them.

Spiritual Stones can be divided into Low-Level, Medium-Level and High-Level, the higher the level of spiritual stones, the purer Genuine Qi they would contain. However medium and High-Level Spiritual Stones are very rare, only high-ranking people above the Foundation Establishment Realm would have them.

Speaking of cultivation, the Immortal cultivation that Zhang Ruochen practiced was different from the kunlun Field. For it was stronger in all terms, but if he can practice both cultivation systems he could be stronger than other people in the same cultivation realm.

Cultivation was the practice of absorbing Spiritual Energy, which is present throughout heaven and on earth, through special breathing exercises. The act allows one to shed the limits of the mortal.

The purpose of cultivation was to Cultivate Dao. First Step belonged to the word 'Cultivating' in 'Cultivating Dao'. Second Step was the bridge between the words 'Cultivate' and 'Dao.' When completely moving the soul from the word 'Cultivate' to the word 'Dao,' the key was the in Second Step. The Third Step was the true realm of the word 'Dao'. This Dao isn't the Dao of the Heaven.

However, the First Step of Immortal Cultivation was divided into: Tempered Body, Foundation Establishment, Core Formation, Golden Core, Nascent Soul, Soul Formation, Soul Transformation, Ascendant.

Which, apart from the Tempered Body, were also separated into four small sub-stages which are: Initial-Stage, Intermediate-Stage, Peak-Stage, Perfect-Stage.

However, what attracted the most attention was a golden flame burning in a glass square suspended in the air, the flames seemed to be quite strong, but even when he approached he didn't even feel the heat it was as if the golden flame had no temperature.

But of course, that was not true, because perhaps it was that square of glass that was restraining the powerful scorching heat of the golden flame. He was more astonished, because he knew what kind of flames it was because of the memories of the Ancient Gods who reached the Peak of Cultivation.

It was a Heavenly flame!

A flame Heavenly flame, it was a flame that was not created by normal means. They were flames that were born from the heavens and the earth, normally these flames could only be found in special places where the primordial Qi, which is the strongest energy in the world of cultivation, was extremely dense.

Zhang Ruotian's red blooded eyes flashed with a greedy light. This was a heavenly Flame, something that only exists in places with an abundance of primordial Qi.

And it was right there in front of him, but he didn't let his greed win over him. For, he knew that he was not yet strong enough to possess such a powerful flame.

Furthermore, the R.O.B would certainly not leave such a treasure without any protection or a type of requirement to obtain the treasure, otherwise, everything would be as easy as drinking water.

He sighed helplessly and turned towards the mountain of Spiritual Stones, as it was the only thing he could use on the first floor.
