Chapter 22: Aunty's White Oak Tree

I looked outside the window and watched the abnormal sized ice drops cover the land in a coat of white.

I called from underneath three large blankets

I scoffed The absurdity of the situation made me kick the blankets off and I quickly regretted my action.

Thankfully the anger helped alleviating my cold but I soon came to the conclusion that no matter how much I call for them, everyone in this house except Trudy would just straight ignore me.

And thus I put on my warmest clothes and thickest boots and gloves before stomping across the halls and down the stairs all the way to the servants residence.

The head maid came out accompanied by a few other servants in their night gowns.

Look at these people enjoying good night sleep while I am freezing up there in that spire!

Taking their firewood wouldn't be okay right...I am sure even if I took it they would just go and pull more out of god knows where out of pure spite.

I need to make it big, to make them regret it.

I laughed

At that moment I locked eyes with them and magic occured. In the split of a second I planted my will into their minds and had them obey my order.

Soon after they followed me outside in their pajamas Axes in hands man and woman walking across the snow covered land to chop down trees.

Trudy said

That might be a problem...but who cares? I would love to make their frigid faces go all twisted with anger and madness!

I said before turning to the servants

the servants replied

I could hear Trudy Sigh and slap her forehead behind my back, bet she's regretting the idea of ever becoming my attendant.

But it's life, we never get what we want. That's how I got stuck saving this stupid planet from imminent doom remember?

I sat on a chair next to a bonfire sipping on a mug of chamomile tea while the servants worked their backs on stocking wood for me.

I enjoyed the view, I wonder if this is how ancient pharaohs felt when they had thousands of slaves build their palaces and pyramids.

Until someone did come looking for trouble.

Aunt Caitlin tossed all noble lady etiquette and elegance, striding on the paved ground, stomping. Her face, obviously twisted in anger was as red as it could be and her eyes could shoot lasers any moment now. Surrounding her an aura of Ice and Snow, her energy reacting to her state of mind.

Oh damn, I really made her lose it! Oh what would I do to get a picture of that face, what a shame.

She slapped the cup away from my hand

She blew a freezing wind towards me

I clapped my hands and her energy stilled, bewildered she looked at me

I stood up

I took a step forward and ordered the servants to take the wood back inside and heat my room and prepare another serving of chamomile tea.

Aunt Caitlin, furious at the fact that I ignored her for a solide five. She pulled at my hair Shouting at my ear all matter of curse words

I Slapped her hand off and ran a hand on my scalp

I pulled at her hair the same way she did

Soon after we were rolling on the snow shouting at each other's like Hyenas thirsty for blood.

She used her Winter magic and I used my body. I swung a slap at her face and she swung a frozen stick at my shoulder
