ROMEO'S POINT OF VIEW
"Alright, what should we start first?" I asked as I stood up.
"Oh, we don't have to start solving the puzzle now. Besides we still have three days, might as well we will just talk about how you two chose me to be a member of this team which I do want to be in this small group, but I'm just confused on why out of all persons, why me?" Travis asked as he looked at me and Juliet.
"Well, we really didn't want to tell more people about the Magicia history, and I didn't want to repeat on telling everything about it." Juliet replied as she frowned.
"And we do trust you, since you are my bestfriend and you are her boyfriend." I said.
"So, we couldn't tell Lauren all about this then? I mean I do understand on what you said Juliet, but she's trusted too." Travis said as he frowned and Juliet puts her head on his shoulder.
"I do trust her Travis and I really want to tell her, but aside of what I just said, I didn't want her to get exposed more of Romeo ever since their breakup, she might get uncomfortable." Juliet replied and she pointed at me.
"I mean, you do have a point." Travis said as he looked at Juliet.
"And I do hope that the two of you won't talk about Lauren, especially our breakup infront of me, as a sign of respect." I sighed as I walked towards my mirror.
"We're sorry, Romeo." Juliet said.
"Likewise." Travis said.
"Thank you, but can we please start solving the puzzle since we are already here?" I asked as I turned at them.
"Alright fine, what should we start with?" Travis asked as Juliet opened the paper.
"Look! Everyone is assigned to what are they're gonna find." Juliet said.
All of us went to Juliet and read on what's in the paper. Afterwards, Juliet, Travis and I stood up and began searching for our clues. I started mine with the first clue, which is an address of a place so I went there while Juliet and Travis went separated ways as well. I arrived at the address, and it is an old library which is a little far from our school. I went inside and saw two kids inside.
"Oh don't worry, you can read the book first." The little boy said as he gives the girl his book.
"No please, you had it first so you must read it first." The little girl chuckled as she give him back the book.
"I insist, please have it." He said.
"What about we will read it together?" She asked him then he nodded.
"Good idea." He chuckled.
I immediately flinched as I saw a blurry flashback in my mind. I couldn't really see on what's happening, but I can hear echoes inside my head.
"Pardon me Mister, is everything okay?" The librarian asked as I zoned out and looked at her.
"I-I'm good, thank you." I replied then she smiled and nodded and walked to her office.
"Oh excuse me, Miss?" I said as the librarian turned at me.
"Yes?" She asked as she frowned.
"Do you have books which are related to magic?" I asked.
"Actually we do have, come on follow me." She said then I nodded and followed her as she walked towards the last section of shelves.
"Luckily, it is the last book. We used to have plenty of stocks of these, but because of the storm that happened years ago, it affected this library mostly this section too." She said as she grabbed the book and give to me.
"Wow, that must have been horrible." I worriedly said.
"Well indeed, it was." She sighed.
"Thank you for the book Miss, I won't take it too long." I said.
"Oh no, please keep it. It was once said that the person who claims the last book of this genre must be able to receive it with no payment." She said.
"Wow, thank you Miss." I said.
"Your welcome young man, I should better be going, my boss arrives here any minute now." She said.
"Sure, no problem." I said then she left as I walked to the exit and bumped into someone which made the book fall down to the floor.
"Oh, I'm sorry it's my fault." I apologized as I bent down to grab my book.
"Well you don't have to be sorry, I get used to clumsy people like you." The stranger said as I grabbed my book and looked up at him.
"You look very familiar, I swore I've seen you somewhere or sometime." He said as he frowned and pointed at me.
"O-Oh." I stuttered.
"Hope you have a nice day, Sir." He said then I smiled and nodded as he left.
I left the library and went back to my place. As I arrived to my room, I noticed that Juliet and Travis aren't inside so I decided to open the book and started reading the first pages. Couple seconds later, my bracelet suddenly rang then I answered and it was from Madam Tia.
"Madam Tia!" I said.
"Romeo! I just wanted to check on you, since Juliet hasn't answered from her earrings." Madam Tia said.
"Oh, Juliet must've been with Travis Madam Tia, since they are basically together." I said.
"Hold on, they are together?!" She asked.
"Oh, Juliet didn't tell you? She told Travis the other day that she likes him back." I said.
"W-Well, it's amazing for them. Anyways, have you figured out the clue I gave to you?" She asked.
"I'm in the process right now, but I just went to the address you gave to me and it is an old library. Then I find a book that is related to magic, just like the second clue you gave to me." I said.
"You're clever, Romeo. Good thing that I decided to communicate with you." She said.
"Thank you, Madam Tia. May I ask on what I should do next?" I asked.
"I would love to say it to you, but I think it's better if you'll figure out yourself. For the mean time, start reading the book, since you still have three days." She said.
"Alright, thank you Madam Tia." I said.
"Anything, Romeo." She said then she ended the call.
Eight hours passed, I kept reading the book just like what Madam Tia said to me, inside my room while waiting for Juliet and Travis. I've learned a lot in the Magic world just by reading the book, inside of it contains different magics from the beginning up until the present. There are even defenses and histories of each magic from the past centuries.
"Hi Romeo!" Juliet said as she and Travis arrived in my room.
"Hello, it's been six hours where have you two been?" I asked as I stood up from my bed.
"Juliet and I have been looking everywhere for our clues, but all we have for now is this paper glasses we saw from my clue." Travis said.
"Those aren't paper glasses, it's like the one we use whenever we will watch a movie, right?" I said.
"Yes I know, but the glasses we use whenever we will watch a movie are red and blue colors. This is a color black glasses." Travis said as Juliet sat down on the bed.
"Lucky for you, you founded your clue while I haven't seen even one for the past eight hours." Juliet sighed.
"Oh by the way Juliet, Madam Tia called me six hours ago and she told me that you haven't answered her call from your earrings." I said as I looked at Juliet.
"Right, I guessed I wasn't paying attention to her call awhile ago." Juliet said.
"Alright, since we have extra time, I guess it's okay if Juliet and I hang out for a bit." Travis said as he walked to Juliet.
"If you two want to hang out, please do it outside of my house." I groaned.
"We can just hang out outside your room instead Romeo, or maybe you have a spare room for the two of us so that you won't feel annoyed at us or something." Travis said as he scoffed.
"Fine, just don't take too long." I said as I rolled my eyes then Juliet and Travis went to the other room.
As they left the room, I decided to take a nap before dinner in less than two hours.
