ROMEO'S POINT OF VIEW

It's the next day and I have no idea what I will be doing for the rest of the day since it is still holidays, so I decided to continue doing my mission for the Magicias. As I opened the book that I got from the old library, a sudden glow appeared from the book. Because it was too bright that I can barely see anything, I closed my eyes and then suddenly heard something came out from the book.

"M-Madam Tia?" I asked in confusion as I saw her, two meters away from me.

"I know I shouldn't be in this city right now, but there is an emergency, I can feel like the enemies are close to us." Madam Tia said as she frowned.

"H-How did you just came out from the book?" I asked as I pointed the book.

"As a guardian, we can enter portals especially when it is urgent just like now." She said.

"A-Alright, should I tell Juliet and Travis about-" I asked as I stood up then she cutted me off.

"No, no, they are currently on their own mission and we don't want to disturb them." She said as she walked towards me.

"I-I'm confused, didn't you say that the enemies are closer? Shouldn't we tell them so that they will be aware as well?" I asked in confusion.

"I know they should, but the enemies are somehow within your mission." She sighed then I gasped.

"M-My mission? Do I know these enemies, or maybe you atleast know them?" I panickedly asked.

"Unfortunately, I might not know them but based on Juliet's mission, the enemies might be the people who you might have known or used to know." She said as she walked around the room.

"Wh-What should we do, Madam Tia?" I panickedly asked as I walked towards her.

"I'm sorry Romeo, but I couldn't help you. Because it is your mission, and guardians aren't allowed to help their beginners." She said then I sighed.

"But the only information I could give to you are the peoples' names in Juliet's mission." She continued then I did a confused face.

"Wh-What are their names?" I asked then she sighed.

"Maria and Peter." She said then my eyes suddenly wide open and I turned around.

Maria and Peter. Those names have been echoing and repeating in the last minute as I heard their names from Madam Tia. It's like I've heard their names somewhere but I don't know how did I even know them.

"I know I shouldn't be giving out too much information Romeo, but there is something you need to know." She sighed then I turned back at her.

"Wh-What is it?" I asked.

"You have an amnesia, exactly nine years ago. I wanted to tell you the day I met you from the seashore but you were still a kid and you seemed very exhausted. I didn't want you to have a very hard time dealing with it so I didn't dare to tell you." She said.

"But I never knew that I would hear you again when you and Juliet were chosen by my crystal ball. The two of you seemed very interested of the Magicia so I again, I failed to tell you about it." She continued as I looked down.

"The moment I knew that the mission my crystal ball gave to you is about what really happened in the past years, I knew it was finally a time to tell you about it. I apologize for everything Romeo, even though we barely know each other, I want you to understand."

"I-I understand Madam Tia, honestly I'm happy that you were able to tell me what really happened in my past. Maybe it could help me with my mission." I said as I smiled.

"Thank you Romeo, I see you are not just a kind-hearted person, but also a person who believes in something." She said.

"That is what the secret ingredient in terms of this Magicia mission, and because of it I will reward you for your mission." She continued then she recited a spell and created a portal.

I gasped as I saw the portal like it is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.

"W-Wait, I already finished my mission? But I haven't figured out what really happened in my past, isn't that the way to solve each of our mission?" I asked in confusion.

"Apparently, it is the reward of your mission." She said as she reached out her hand.

"Shall we enter the portal?" She asked as she looked at the portal.

"We shall." I said as I reached out my hand then we entered the portal.

The moment we entered the portal I can a shiny bright light coming to us, I closed my eyes with my hands then a second later, I heard a distinct noise and I opened my eyes.

"I-Is this where I think it is?" I asked as I looked at Madam Tia then she nodded and smiled.

I looked around to the old library I was at yesterday, then saw two kids together then I frowned as I looked at them.

"Oh don't worry, you can read the book first." The little boy said as he gives the girl his book.

"No please, you had it first so you must read it first." The little girl chuckled as she give him back the book.

"I insist, please have it." He said.

"What about we will read it together?" She asked him then he nodded.

"Good idea." He chuckled.

"I swear I saw they had they same conversation when I was in this library yesterday." I said as I looked at Madam Tia.

"No way, it might be a coincidence." Madam Tia said as she looked at me then we looked back at them.

"Romeo? Come on, let's go home. Dad's waiting for us." Says the girl who suddenly went inside the library.

"Wh-Who is that?" I asked as I pointed to the girl.

"I have no idea, let's keep listening." Madam Tia said.

"Oh yes, I will be there Mom." The little boy replied then he looked at the girl.

"W-Wait, is that my mo-?" I asked then the little boy cutted me off.

"I guess you will be the one who will read it first after all." The little boy chuckled as he stood up as we slowly went closer to them.

"Yeah." The little girl chuckled as well as he grabbed his things.

"It was nice meeting you, Romeo." The little girl continued.

"It is you, Romeo." Madam Tia said as I looked at her with my eyes and mouth wide open.

"Likewise." The little boy said then he started walking out the library.

"I'm Juliet by the way." The little girl mumbled as the little boy left the library.

"J-Juliet? As in, Juliet Fitzroy?" I asked in confusion.

"Based on my memory, it is her when she was still in third grade." Madam Tia chuckled as I frowned then little Juliet sighed.

"Do you want to catch up with your past self?" Madam Tia asked.

"Sure, but just out of curiosity, can they see us?" I asked.

"Apparently, they won't since we are traveling back in time." Madam Tia said then she snapped her finger and we suddenly appeared from outside the library.

"Romeo, I told you that you mustn't stay in the library at this time." My birth mother said.

"I'm sorry, Mommy." Little Romeo apologized as he pouted then his mom gave him a hug.

"Come on, your Dad is waiting for us at home." My birth mother said then they both walked home.

Madam Tia and I followed my birth mother and my younger self to their or our house.

"Hello Daddy! My mom and I are home!" Little Romeo exclaimed as he ran to his dad.

"Aww, great to see you two back home, Romeo." My birth father said as they both hugged and the mother walked closely towards them.

The both of them released afterwards, little Romeo immediately went to the kitchen to grab a glass of water and he saw something in a counter.

"Divorce.. papers." Little Romeo read on what is said on the paper then both of his parents gasped and ran towards him.

"D-Divorce papers?" I stuttered then a flashback came into my mind but this time it isn't blur.

Flashback

"I a-am cheating on you wi-with another guy." My birth mother explained which made my birth father cry.

"What happened to us? What happened to our vows we made? What about our son? Do the both of us mean special to you?" My birth father asked as he continued crying.

"I-it's complicated, besides I did that for the three of us so that we could l-live our lives like this." My birth mother explained as she tried to walk to Leon but he kept walking backwards.

--

"Even though you will explain things, nothing will change since you already planned on getting a divorce with me!" Leon shouted.

"I am not planning on getting a divorce with you! Pl-Please Leon, let's s-sort things out in an adult way and not infront of Romeo!" Melinda shouted back.

--

"You have until tomorrow morning to pack your things, after that you can leave my house immediately." Leon calmly said.

"You can't do this Leon, this will affect us especially Romeo." Melinda said.

--

"Mommy, Daddy.. please stop fighting." Romeo said while pouting.

"I'm sorry Romeo-" Melinda said as she walked towards Romeo then Leon cutted her off.

"Don't you ever go near to my son, Melinda." Leon said.

"Romeo's my son too, Leon!" Melinda said.

Present

"M-Madam Tia." I said as Madam Tia looked at me.

"Let's go to another time from the past, I-I don't want to hear their fight." I sighed.

"As you wish, Romeo." Madam Tia said then she snapped her fingers and we went to the time where we saw a car falling down.

"Wh-What is that?" I asked as I pointed at the car.

"It seems like there was an accident that happened." Madam Tia replied then she grabbed my arm and we went closer to the people.

"Help! I feel like I'm drowning!" A woman shouted as the boys started finding her.

"Maria? Maria, where are you?!" A man shouted.

The surroundings of this happening was covered in fog as rain continued to pour. The "Little Romeo" tried not to drown into the water again so I called for help as well.

"Madam Tia, I-I'm-I mean my past self is drowning, we should help him or me!" I panickedly exclaimed.

"Romeo, I'm afraid to say that we couldn't help him or you on which you prefer, when we are only traveling back in time." Madam Tia sighed.

"Mom! Dad! I'm d-drowning, he-help!" Little Romeo shouted but no one noticed.
