See if I give a shit!

CRASH

"You fucking ingrate! You call this wine? Get this piss out of here and bring me real wine or you'll be in there next!" shouted a man.

In the centre of the room was a large purple chair, it seemed like it was trying to be a throne but it wasn't big enough or sophisticated enough. A crude imitation of true wealth, of power, of authority. On that almost-throne was a greased up middle aged man, stuffing pastries and cakes into his mouth with his left hand and holding a goblet in the other which was pointed forwards and out of the room. The room was somewhat lavish, it was clearly modelled in the style of a room that the decorator had seen before and was attempting to imitate it but it was somewhat inadequate. It seemed as if the room was incomplete, still in progress even, as it was full of large spaces and the furniture was spread in a specific order that would have been well designed if the room was actually full. Instead, though, it could only be described as patchy.

The room was at the top of the Coliseum to the east of the city, it was centre stage and aligned in the position that showed the most authority and power while still giving the best view on the action in the ring. It was quite high, around 50 metres upwards, so that only those that had reached the second tier would be able to reach it in one jump. The only exception would be a body refiner though as they could probably jump such distance at the first stage only. This wasn't taken into account though as body refiners were very rare in the southern petal. The resources needed for body refining were simply not abundant enough for there to be a large sect that would focus on it instead of traditional qi refining.

The seats of the coliseum were filled throughout in a layered structure. The higher your status, the higher the floor you would be seated on. This was a pretty simple way of doing things but it was the most effective since the people on the ground floor were most likely to be implicated in the battle and so that the higher tiered people had time to run away as the ground floor fodder were devoured by the king's chaotic pet. The people believed that the king wasn't very good at controlling his pet but in reality, he was adept enough to dictate everything it did. In other words, those random casualties that could have been avoided were not, simply because the king didn't care. His lacklustre attitude alone had caused thousands of innocents to die.

The people were tense and the atmosphere was grim as they were forced to stand and watch. The army had surrounded the place and taken control of the people, forcing them to spectate the ensuing 'battle'. They stood in silence for the first while but soon enough they began talking. Each person turned to their peer and started talking, it wasn't anything about the soon to be battle or about the king or his pet. It was just common chatter, some asked how their day was, some commented on the weather, some commented on the number of ores they had mined yesterday, some even talked about their breakfast and lunch. The soldiers were confused by the chattering since usually they would be talking about the unlucky person that would be 'fighting' or about how they were terrified of the king's pet. They couldn't say anything though since these people were the vital workforce that ensured their own salaries. Instead they simply hurried along the soldiers to bring out the gladiators. They thought that the appearance of the king's pet would silence them just like it always did.

Soon enough the ground began to shake to a slow beat, the sinister rhythm reignited in the minds of all the commoners as they stuttered and choked. They had all seen the kings beast before and knew of its power and ferocity, the idea of how they could be the next person to be sacrificed as its meal passed through their minds again but after remembering Lucius' words they stopped thinking about it. No one knew when but someone had grabbed the hand of their neighbour and that neighbour grabbed the next person along. Rapidly the entire bottom two floors were united in a collective hand hold that showed their will. They looked forward without shaking and continued to talk about their days and so on. Even as the beast began to slowly edge its way out of the rings entrance they still continued talking amongst themselves.

The beast was escorted by a few dozen men as it slovenly stumbled out of the entrance. Slowly its head peaked out of the darkness, its fangs glaring under the light of the sun, its whiskers shining like steel wires, its black hairs flowing down like black fire. The beast was nearly 20 metres long and 10 high, covered in black fire-like fur and surrounded with an aura of belligerent chaos. It was a large panther type beast that was of the fire element. It gave off an intense heat that raised the Coliseums temperature by at least 5 degrees. Its head swayed to the left and right as it scanned its eyes over the random spectators. It looked over for a while before growling deeply and roaring with its full might as the soldiers that had it chained down let go of the chains and ran back for their lives.

"What the hell is going on down there!? Those filthy slaves have angered my precious cat. Tell them to stop muttering or I'll kill them all!" the King spat as he glared at the butler standing to the side of the room.

The butler was about to run off to give the order to the army commanders in the rooms adjacent but at that time the soldiers brought out the opponent for the black fire panther and immediately all eyes were glued to the ring as they admired the scene. Escorted by 2 soldiers, a white haired teenage girl was brought out from the exit opposite the beasts, immediately capturing the attention of everyone. The king looked on in awe as he was instantly mesmerised by her beauty before shouting out to his butler once again,

"Who the hell is that? What the hell are those stupid soldiers doing? Weren't they supposed to bring out the man that had secretly been stealing military funds to give to his family? Why bring out this random girl instead? Such a beauty needs to be personally handled by me, right? Are those bastards rebelling?" as fat as he was, the king had a really fast tongue as he vomited out a slurry of questions.

Immediately the butler ran out the room and returned not a minute later with 5 men, these were those stronger army officials and they immediately bowed before the king as the strongest of the 5 stepped forward but just as he was about to explain, a loud voice interrupted them.

"Hello, hello! Shitty Black Rock king, shitty generals, shitty nobleman and shitty merchants. My name is Delilah! And today I'm here to put on a great show for you. Now, just sit back and enjoy! That's all your good for anyway!" Delilah began with a jovial tone before ending with bone chilling statement that put fear into the hearts of the men she called out.

"What the fuck is this!? One of you overpaid idiots tell me what the hell is going on before I feed you all to my pet as well!"

"W-w-we don't know sir, this wasn't supposed to happen. Please wait here sir, we'll detain that girl and kill the soldiers that brought her out immediately!" responded the man in front.

"No! Send those soldiers into the ring with that bastard thief, we need to show the rest of the soldiers what happens to those who play tricks!"

"B-b-but sir, it would be unwise to execute a soldier in such a way. They might revolt if we push them too far."

"Who gives a fuck what they do, if they revolt then just kill them all. These stupid slaves have gotten cocky after I let them into the army, kill them all! See if I give a shit!"

"Y-y-yes sir, we'll take care of it right away"

The 5 men stood up to go do their jobs but were instantly interrupted by a large crash. Everyone looked to the ring and saw the black fire panther lying with its head in the ground. The Coliseum shook like crazy as the king fell from his seat and all the nobles and merchants got up from their chairs. They didn't know what the hell was happening but they sure as hell weren't going to just sit there and wait. They turned around and were about to run straight out of their rooms and jump down the safety line that was installed at the exit points, but before they could reach the door, they were all stopped by an abrupt pain. They looked down in shock as they saw a hole in their hearts, they coughed up blood and brought their hands down to stop the bleeding but before they could reach it, there were two light beams that pierced through them, one in their heads and the other in their throats. They collapsed to the ground without being able to react or leave any last words. Behind each of them stood a maid, butler, or even courtesan that held a pistol in their hands.

At the same time, the soldiers lining the perimeter of the Coliseum were trying to regain control of the situation as they pulled out their blades and pointed them at the commoners. However, as they did this, some soldiers and some commoners pulled out pistols from within their clothes before firing off a rapid bombardment of lasers. The remaining commoners rushed forward and robbed all of the swords on the ground and rushed out of the Coliseum, killing their way through the cities defensive guards and heading for the North of the city. They were heading off to kill the rest of the soldiers that weren't attending the Coliseum as well as the personal guards of the nobles and merchants. They were going to take over the mansions and resources of these people with the assistance of Johnny.

As the civilians swarmed out of the building and gunned down all opposition, the 5 generals watched on in horror as they realised that the commoners were in fact revolting after all.

"Shit, shit, shit! What are you 5 idiots standing there for! Go forth and kill those traitors!" the king screamed as he backed away from the commotion, intending to escape as the 5 generals battled the enemies.

"Hahaha, where the hell do you think your going, aye, fatty!" came a voice from in front of the king as he attempted to escape. Looking to the exit, the king saw a purple and silver haired youth twirling a sword around his wrist.

The king rushed forward immediately screaming "get the hell out of my way!" as he did, sending a fist straight at the youth. The King may have been nothing without his pet but he was still a tier 2 warrior at least. He believed the kid to be 12 to 14 at most and thus figured that he could not be as strong as tier 2 yet. After all, a 14 year old at the second tier would be considered a top tier genius in the southern petal and could only be found at the region closest to the central continent.

However, to his dismay, Lucius lashed out with the sword and instantly sliced his hand off his wrist. The King dropped back on his ass as he screamed out at the pain and blood that overwhelmed him. He looked at Lucius like he was a monster before screaming out with a shrill voice.

"What the fuckkkkk! You took my hand, who the hell does that? Give it back! I demand you to return my hand right now!" the king complained like a screaming baby.

"Hahaha, how the fuck did a coward like you become a king? Tell me, who gave you that pet of yours? Its a tier 3 beast, its far out of a pathetic meat sacks league." Lucius chuckled as he twirled his sword again, spraying blood all over the place.

"T-t-that's right! I'm a disciple of the Beast Breading Pavilion! Do you know who they are? The Elders are at the Elemental Conqueror realm and the Sect Master is at the Harmonic realm! If you kill me, they will hunt you down and slaughter you all!" the king rambled on as he pointed with the only hand he had left.

"Haha, don't worry fatty, I won't be killing you today. No, no, no, I won't be killing you today!" Lucius laughed to himself as he slashed out with his blade again in a flurry, cutting the kings tendons in his ankles and wrists before dashing out and doing the same to the 5 generals behind the fat king.

"You! W-w-what are you gonna do with us? If you kill me, you won't be spared! You hear me? You won't be fucking spared!" the king threatened as he rolled around in pain.

Lucius walked over slowly and grabbed the king by his head and pulled him up to look him in the eyes.

"See if I give a shit!"
