Lucius thought about each of these things individually as a solution to his problem. The cultivation technique he had inherited and followed to this day was based upon the cosmos themselves and so he thought it apt that if he were to make a change it would be something in line with the original technique. To his dismay, however, nothing seemed to fit. All of those things, one way or another, all had to do with gravity. They all relied upon or had a key quality that had to do with gravity. Planets were held together by gravity. Meteors were without something to gravitate towards and so they shot through space but if they did have something to gravitate towards they became satellites or moons.
