Emma's Training

"Hah... Alright..." Emma rose from the swing she was sitting on. The sun had set, and the playground was now illuminated by the glow of white ball-shaped lights. "I'm done with my story. If you're finished with yours, maybe we can continue this conversation some other time," she said.

Levi also stood up. "I'm done too. Sorry if I can't give you advice on this matter. I'm not sure what to say."

Emma nodded. "No need to feel guilty, Levi. You also have your own problems. I don't want to burden your mind with the issues I'm dealing with. Still, you really strengthen me just by being here and listening."

They walked a bit to the edge of the park, where Levi's car was parked. Levi rolled down the car window after getting into the driver's seat. Emma perched on the open window.
