Chapter 24: King Evergreen
The morning meeting of main hall was still going on, the king sat on the throne and looked lazily around at everyone speaking of different matters of the kingdoms.
The king was a middle age man was robust and tall physic, a handsome face with golden long hair, sharp looking eyes and had a fierce aura around him. he wore light golden robe and a crown on his head.
Just ad he started feeling bored due to the discussions of al the ministers in the hall, suddenly the hall doors that were tightly closed, opened up with "baam…" sound.
From it came running his Head Butler with nervous and urgent face. He never saw he making that kind of face. Although he was little bit unhappy due to sudden disturbance but, he was also looking forward to it as he was bored with all the discussions here.
Seeing the closed door opening suddenly and disturbing their discussion, the ministers became angry and seeing that it was John who came running, few hot headed ministers shouted at it.
"What are you doing here Head Butler?"
"How dare you disturb us?"
"You better have valid reason or we will ask his majesty to punish you."
"Don't you know you can't disturb his majesty during this meeting."
"don't you know it is forbidden for anyone to enter during the morning meeting."
Seeing ministers are getting angry due to his intrusion, the nervous Head Butler cupped his hand and bowed a little and spoke to the ministers.
"Forgive me ministers, due to an urgent news I had to intrude and disturb you all."
"After this matter is done, I will personally ask his majesty for my punishment."
After saying that, without waiting for the minister to reply, Head Butler came near King Evergreen.
First, he paid his respects and told him about the matter of Lucas choosing Dark Canyon as his fief.
Hearing what Head Butler was saying, all the people present in the hall were surprised including the King himself.
Seeing king became surprised was really a shocking matter, because of him being cold hearted, he really didn't care much about others so, he was never shocked or surprised by any matters.
"Did you say that my waste son, choose Dark Canyon as his Fief?"
"Yes, your majesty, Prince Lucas chose Dark Canyon as hid fief." John replied and continued.
"I tried to stop him and asked him to choose different location but, Prince Lucas did Listen to my suggestions."
"He requested to get permission for getting Dark Canyon as his fief from you your majesty."
Hearing their voices, the ministers that were in shocked and surprised state came back and started discussing about this matter among them selves.
Some ministers had amusing expression on there faces, some had happy expression, so had surprise expression and some had disbelieve expression on their faces.
Hearing John's reply, the King fell silent and started thinking about the reason for Lucas to chose Dark Canyon as his Fief. After thinking for a while he asked his minister about this matter.
"So, what do you all think about this matter?"
