Vigilante Action

The P.E teacher rushed towards the corridor as soon as he heard the commotion and when he got there, he saw a bunch of students blocking his path, he then heard a very loud bang which caused him to realize that a fight has broken out.

He suddenly rushed towards the crowd and shouted at them, all students stopped recording and looked at the P.E teacher and quickly dispersed from the corridor leaving Shawn and Jackson alone.

The P.E teacher then noticed Jackson holding onto his right arm, he saw that Jackson's wrist had turned purple indicating that he has broken his hand, he then looked at the locker door and saw the big dent on it.

He then looked at Shawn and noticed he didn't have any kind of injury on him, he soon put two and two together realizing what happened, just like Jackson and Shawn he was also once a student and he knows who the aggressor is just by looking at both students.

He could easily ignore this situation and let these two of the hook but seeing that Jackson has injured his hand and his parents being influential figures, he couldn't ignore it.

"Jackson, go to the infirmary. Shawn, wait for me in my office". He said assertively, Shawn just sighed and walked away leaving Jackson alone, Jackson glared at him coldly before walking to the opposite direction where the infirmary was located.

Shawn made his way towards the P.E teacher's office and entered, it was a medium-sized room filled with sports equipment and pictures of students winning several sports events, there were also a lot of trophies on the shelves, a few of them belonged to the current team while others belonged to the previous batch.

The P.E teacher was not only the physical education teacher but also the coach for the football (soccer) team and he was great at it, all these trophies were because of his coaching and hard work.

Shawn was impressed by the trophies, he looked around for a while and took a seat, and took out his phone as he noticed that it was buzzing crazily and when he looked at his phone, he noticed that he was tagged in some post.

He frowned and opened his SC app and noticed that it was the video of Jackson attacking him and him dodging those punches, it was fully captured on camera, how Shawn moved around and dodged those punches and Jackson also punching the locker as well.

Under the post, several comments discussed the fight, they laughed at how Jackson couldn't land one hit on Shawn, he ridiculed him saying he was just a brute with no technique, seeing comments like this just ticked of Shawn, he knew that if any one of them stood in front of Jackson, their face would have been beaten to a pulp.

He also noticed comments about him as well, some of them praised him for his quickness while some of them called him a pussy for dodging those punches from Jackson.

Shawn was a little pissed as he saw these people talking shit but he decided to ignore it and continued looking through the internet, he scrolled through some memes and they made him chuckle multiple times.

He also looked through some news articles and read news, he read that a new vigilante has entered the city of Welshton, this vigilante doesn't seem to have any superpower but he seems to be using very high tech weapons like guns with emp or explosive bullets, extendable cable links to climb up buildings very easily, plasma daggers and many more.

This vigilante is being called the Night Hawk as his suit resembles a hawk and it's black in color, he was also seen very active at night take down criminals, Shawn never understood these people with no superpower trying to bring justice.

The government didn't allow it and any vigilante activity would be seen as a crime.

The difference between being a superhero and a vigilante is that the government ignores the actions of superpowered people because the government knows how dangerous these superpowered people really are.

Some of them can even withstand a nuclear blast and come out unscathed and at the end of the day if these superpowered people decide to look down on normal people, a rule of tyranny will begin and normal humans will be suppressed.

This is why the government decided to ignore the people with superpowers who are doing good for society and aiding them in stoping other superpowered beings with bad intent. Some of these supered powered beings decided to go rogue and turn into supervillains while some used their powers for good and help the government catch these supervillains. And some decided to just ignore society and live life isolated from others because of how people viewed them.

The government even recruits some of the superpowered people so they are not completely powerless as well.

Shawn didn't think much of this vigilante, Shawn knew that this vigilante will either get killed or grow into a tougher person after going through all the hardship.

There have only been a few people with no superpowers that have survived this cruel world of pretending to be a hero, man vigilante have come forward to bring justice but 95% have met their death in the hands of supervillains, and some of their deaths are so gruesome that nobody likes to even talk about it.

While Shawn was going through his phone, there was only one thought that was wondering his mind, and that is his powers, by now he knows he has super speed, he could feel it in his veins, he also realized that every time he is in danger, his superspeed activates automatically making his perception extremely fast.

Now he needs to figure out if this superspeed of his is only limited to while he is in danger or he can activate it anytime he wants.

As he was about to give it a try, the door of the room opened and the P.E teacher walked in and looked at Shawn.

"To the principal's office, now!"

He said and turned around and walked away, Shawn didn't want to piss off this angry brute and decided to follow him, he got up from his chair and followed the man to the principal's office.
