Unfainted, but at What Price?

"She really fainted, wow! I'm at peak performance right now, I'm sure I've done well on today's test! I really diagnosed her from here!" the man who first talked about the Xianthia herbs said loudly.

Even if his diagnosis was absolutely wrong, his confidence was quite appealing for sure. Bai Jingfei couldn't help but think well of him. Mostly because he saved her butt.

'If he wasn't there I would've been in trouble.' Bai Jingfei quietly thought to herself as she played dead. She had to put extra focus in not letting her facial muscles move.

She was the kind who couldn't keep a straight expression at most times. She was either laughing or crying loudly. There was no in between. Her expressions weren't exactly something she could control. 

Right now she could feel her eyelids twitch, just begging to be allowed to open. It was some sort of irresistible urge to peek, but Bai Jingfei knew that opening her eyes would only end in more trouble for her.
