Domino Effect (1)

After a good ten minutes of crying and being consoled, Bai Jingfei finally sat down next to her father and then rubbed her eyes. They had already been red and puffy from crying, but now it looked like someone had beaten her eyes in.

Bai Jingfei looked like a victim of some sort of hate crime.

She had obviously been wronged, so she looked as upset as upset could be. Prime minister Bai instantly felt like indulging her when he saw her pouty, slightly upset attitude.

There was no way that he could tell her to stop crying.

That would simply be too harsh. He wanted to make sure that Bai Jingfei was always happy, and that meant letting her whine once in a while. And it was true, he had not warned her about the move.

Warning her would've been common courtesy, but he hadn't bothered to tell her.
