The Abduction of a Hero (3)

The monk left shortly after, but the panic in the camp hadn't died down.

The women were combed out of the camp with great precision, and there was not a single one to be seen. Even the women themselves rushed out of the camp. If the trigger here was a woman, then it was best that they all left.

It was already dangerous enough to be in a camp going to the north, and now there was a curse piled on top of all of this. It was seriously far too dangerous to be a woman in a camp like this. No one was going to protect them if there was a curse put on them, or even if the savages came for them.

Since everybody in the camp unequivocally wanted the women out of the camp, that was what happened.

The women were thrown out, and the camp set out as usual.

That brings us back to the kidnapping of the third son of general Sun.
