A rare form of the first person is the first person omniscient, in which the narrator is a character in the story, but also knows the thoughts and feelings of all the other characters. It can seem like third-person omniscient at times.

"S-sorry about that…." Liu Mei spoke as she overcame her shock, "My mother forgets her strength."

"Hmm." Old Lady Liu scoffed from her seat but continued to read.

"It's fine. I'm Orym Vamoria, and this is my main man, Shane Black." I spoke as we walked out of the shop to the stables.

"It means he's the only man at my side, and no one else qualifies to call me brother more than this guy," I explained.

"Well, you and your main man can follow me." Liu Mei giggles as she walks away.

I was about to follow when Shane grabbed my arm. "Don't forget about Sister Qing, Brother. This Liu Mei is cute. But think of how Sister Qing would feel."

"Be easy...It'll take a lot more than a pretty face and sweet perfume for me to consider a second wife." I told him. "But, you should still keep Liu Mei a secret. Something about her isn't right, and the moment we leave this place, she'll be a vague memory."
