(Chapter twenty three.)

Not for the first time, Sara wished she could pry inside his head and answer those questions for herself. But that would be an invasion of privacy, and they had promised a long time ago that they would never do that to one another. And she wasn't about to break that promise now.

Well? Sara prompted, if for no other reason than just to see that he wasn't completely ignoring her. He shot her a look that confirmed her suspicions, and she huffed gloomily. I should warn you that there's more. Sara said.

What happened? Kylo Ren finally asked, stopping his pacing.

The person who spotted me. I'm pretty sure that I know who it was. Sara admitted, hands fidgeting in her lap.

Who? Kylo Ren asked her.

Sara hesitated, biting her lip. He would know who it was, even if she didn't want to share that information. It was Wren Dex. At least, I think he recognized me before I fell off the staircase. Said Sara.

His head whipped around to face her. You what?

I'm fine, Sara said dismissively. I've had worse.
