(Chapter twenty six.)

Ignoring the pain in her side and leg and the pit in her stomach, Sara dragged herself to her feet and followed the two men out the door. The walk to Supreme Leader Snoke's throne room- the idea of which still made her roll her eyes- was nerve wracking, but not because of fear. It felt less like waiting on death row, and more like waiting in line. She just wanted to get it over with. Though admittedly, when the door slid open her stomach did a few somersaults for good measure.

Sara and Kylo Ren approached Supreme Leader Snoke as Hux rather reluctantly exited the room. Before they could kneel, or even begin to speak, Sara was knocked off her feet and sent sprawling backward. Her head bounced off the cold floor, and as she laid there, dazed and fighting the black edges at the corners of her vision, she thought about how this had gone almost exactly as expected. Still painful, but not surprising.

After all the years you've served the First Order, I should think you were capable of handling such a mission, Supreme Leader Snoke snarled, pathetic.
