The Rise of the Dark Hero, Part 1

The city of Riverheim, capital of the Duchy of Riverland, belonging to the Kingdom of Lothal, was located on the border between the Empire of Kaleth and the Republic.

Riverheim, as befits the capital of a Duchy, is a great city. But to say that it was a great city was an understatement. For Riverheim could easily rival, and even surpass, the Capital of the Kingdom of Lothal, Crownheim.

The city was located in the intersection between two important rivers originating from the Imperial territory, the first from the Northeast and the second from the Southeast; both streams were connected and together they created a new river which extended from the Duchy of Riverland to empty into the west coast of the Kingdom of Lothal, in the distant Duchy of Sealand.
