Trouble Coming to Him

When Dana Edward came to work in the afternoon, she walked past the milk tea shop and bought an extra cup of milk tea.

After arriving in the office, she placed this cup of milk tea in front of Alger.

Alger was shocked. He then looked at Dana Edward in confusion and asked, "Every new employee is treated to a cup of milk tea? Are people in your company this friendly?"

After hearing Alger's voice, the suspicion in Dana Edward's heart grew even stronger. This voice was totally the same as that of the person who helped her previously.

Thinking of this, Dana Edward looked at Alger and asked directly, "Did you help me when I was robbed?"

"What are you talking about? I don't understand," Alger replied without hesitation.

He didn't want to attract too much attention. If he had known that Browning Adams gave people who had contact with Dana Edward a hard time previously, Alger might not have chosen to speak to Dana Edward when he got here.
