Chapter 366: Degraded to a Servant

Chen Kai checked his watch to realize the four sisters had been chatting away for over twenty minutes after their return. The food on the table had long gotten cold. He, no doubt, would have to heat it up again.

Although this would be some more trouble, Chen Kai was practically delighted to do it. He needed to find some chores to do to distance himself from his father temporarily.

If he continued to stay here doing nothing, who knew how much more work he would be asked to do? According to what was just discussed, he would have to cook seven or eight dishes for lunch and again for dinner daily. The thought of it made his head spin.

Cooking takes time. Three or four dishes could be ready within an hour, but seven or eight dishes probably needed two hours.
