I turned away from the car and folded my arms, "I changed my mind, I'm not going." Hayley gave me a puzzled look, "Why not?" I pointed to the sexy devil seated in the car, "I'm not going anywhere with that jerk." He chuckled and stepped out of the car, "Are you still upset with me, baby?"
My cheeks tinted red at the nickname. He came closer to me, "I told you before, it wouldn't work between us. It was just a one time thing." I smacked him on the head, "Stop making people misunderstand you pervert!"
Sebastian burst out laughing, "I can tell today is going to be very eventful." I hmphed, "For you of course. Have fun." Dylan grabbed onto my arm, "Do I make you nervous? Is that why you don't want to go anymore?" He looked down, "I'm sorry but I can't stop myself from being this sexy and handsome." I clenched my fists and walked passed him.
That cocky bastard.
I sat in the car and folded my arms. He slid in beside me and pinched my cheeks, "You're so cute when you're angry." I slapped his hand away from my face and gave him my best death glare, "Careful...I bite." He winked, "I do too."
Hayley turned around from the front seat with a worried look on her face, "Will you two be okay around there?" Dylan smiled and draped his arm around my shoulders, "Of course, we're all friends here." I turned around and bit his arm.
He retracted his arm and rubbed the spot, "What the hell?"
I smirked, "I told you...I bite."
He didn't bother me anymore after that. Instead, he just tapped away on his phone. I rested my head on my arm and stared at him. For some reason, he looked very familiar.
The more I stared at him, the more his blue eyes, jet black hair and muscular frame became familiar to me.
"It's not nice to stare."
"I know you from somewhere." He returned his phone to his pocket and turned to me, "Yea, we met a few times. At the mall, my workplace, a party." I rolled my eyes, "I'm not talking about those times. I mean before that." I tilted my head to the side and thought back, "When did we meet at a party?"
He looked out the window, "I was just listing places."
I leaned back in my seat. Cloey dragged me to so many parties, it's close to impossible to narrow down which one I probably saw him. "By the way, about that interview."
I turned to him and he sighed, "You didn't get the job." I sighed and looked down, I'm not really surprised to be honest. Hayley turned around, "She didn't get it? Who did Mom choose?" Dylan groaned, "Some dude, as if Sebastian isn't annoying enough."
I knew he'd get the job.
After all I've been through to make it to that stupid interview. Hayley turned to me, "I'm so sorry Katie." She apologizes too much. I forced a smile, "It's fine."
Sebastian pouted from the driver's seat, "That sucks. I was really looking forward to working with you."
"Me too, what a bummer."
We all turned to look at him and burst out in laughter. Sebastian teased, "You just wanted her to get the job so you could constantly flirt with her." Dylan smirked, "As if you're any different. Plus, I'm an engaged man, my fooling around days are over."
I rose a brow, "You're getting married?"
"Yup," he responded popping the p. "Who's the poor thing that'll have to marry an asshole like you?" He held his chest, "Those insults really sting you know."
"I have no idea who I'm getting married to." I furrowed my eyebrows, "You don't?" He shook his head, "According to my Mom, I'll find out at the engagement party." He smiled, "You should come." I scoffed, "No thanks."
I really wanted to go though. I shook my head, curiosity killed the cat.
"Aren't you upset that you're Mom is marrying you off to a random stranger?" He shrugged, "I was but what to do. What she says goes, there's no room for arguments when it comes to the family business."
The family business huh. I guess it's a business marriage then.
Sebastian spoke up, "If you married Athena like I told you to, you wouldn't have to marry a random stranger." Athena? So they really are dating.
Dylan sighed, "My mother wouldn't approve. Plus, Athena and I already broke up a long time ago." I looked at him from the side of my eye, some things don't add up. How could they have broken up a long time ago after I walked in on both of them a few days ago?
Maybe-
"I never got the chance to apologize." He rose a perfectly arched brow, "For what other than the painful insults you keep sending my way?" I rolled my eyes, "I'm not apologizing for those. I'm apologizing for walking in on you and Athena a few days ago."
He looked extremely confused, "I have no idea what you're talking about."
As I was about to say something Sebastian suddenly shouted, "We're here!"
My eyes widened as I looked around the place, it was packed with people. Every single ride you can think of was there. Even the rumored to be deadly, Black Mamba. My mouth watered as I stared at it from afar. The Black Mamba was number 1 on the top 10 deadliest and scariest rollercoasters for 15 years before being replaced by The Old Lady last year..
Riding it had been on my list of things to do before I die since I was seven. I jumped up and down excitedly, "Let's go, Let's go, Let's go!" Hayley chuckled and went in the car to get her bag that had the tickets.
She quickly pulled her head up from the car, "Where's my bag?"
And just like that, all my hopes and dreams shattered.
After much debate and a few games of rock, paper, scissors, Sebastian and Hayley joined the extremely long line at the entrance and I was forced to drive back home for Hayley's purse with Dylan.
