I furrowed my brows, "What? That's impossible, they were there when I left the room and I even threw some away on the floor."
Dr. Lovely stared blankly at me, "We searched the room from top to bottom and even searched the bedroom, but we couldn't find any pills."
"If you disposed of the pills Miss Martinez, it is better for you that you confess," the boney-faced doctor accused.
I narrowed my eyes at him, "I didn't do it."
The doctor and I had a stare-off, both of us refusing to back down but eventually, he gave in and surrendered.
He adjusted his spectacles again, "I will speak with Alessandro first and foremost before I begin making accusations."
I glared at him, "I think that would be wise."
Dr. Lovely turned to my grandmother, "Do you have any idea where Alessandro could've gone?" She sorrowfully shook her head, "I don't, sorry."
But I had a strong feeling she was lying.
